hey every1 i am new to the forum, i'm just reading around and i'm looking into buying a FD rx-7 i just want to know the ups and downs about them

check the newbie threads stickied at the top. Also, search for reliability mods. There are also a couple of other sites that those threads will point you to that will tell you what to look for in a used 7. Use the search feature too before asking a question because most likely it has already been answered and people will get all mad at you for asking the same question that 1000s of people have asked before. Other than that, have fun and congrats on your decision if you buy one.

Ups-everything (well, except the cost) when its running right

Downs-everything when its not running right (includes but is not limited to: expensive parts/maintainence, difficult to work on, uncommon parts, complex turbocharging system, often short lived and tempermental motor, and the fact that it will raise your blood pressure)
