Unhappy How to replace coolant seal??? Blue smoke

My FD causes a lot of bluish white smoke while I'm driving. My FD feels pretty good while driving, except this one time when it was idling, it felt like I was only on one rotor. Also, the turbo is not the problem.

Anyway, I think my coolant seal needs to be replaced. I have all the tools and equipment to work on the engine. Is there a how to on replacing the coolant seal and do I have to replace anything else? Also, what is the easiest way to get to the coolant seal?

Coolant causes a big plum of very thick white smoke not bluish.
From your question I'm guessing you have no idea where the coolant seals are. To get to the seala, you will need to remove the engine, strip it all the way down and take the rotor housing apart. In most(all) cases, if you already have the whole thing apart why wouldn't you replace the apex seals and check for all tolerances while it's apart. That is why everyone will tell you you need a rebuild when they hear "coolant seal".
Do your self a favor and do the bubble check first before you start tearing everything down, you might save your self a week of down time.

For some weird reason I thought the coolant seal was the problem I know that the blue smoke is oil, so then what could be the problem? It's definitely not the turbo and PCV valve, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mahjik...thanks for that link.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Just curious - why are you so sure it's not the turbos?

If you are not losing water, it's not the coolant seals.

I took off my intercooler pipe and could easily see that the turbo is not leaking any oil. Also, as soon as I got off boost the car didn't smoke.

the oil could be exiting the exhaust side of the turbos and leaving no trace in the piping. just a lot of bluish smoke

Have you taken off your intake pipes and checked for shaft play yet?

I used to get the blue smoke at idle. It was my turbos.
