mazda oempartsonline is it reliable
I'm looking for an OEM fuel pump for a 1985 RX7 GSL-SE (N304-13-350C). Mazda oempartsonline apparently has them available (no picture though).
I' was wondering what experiences others have had with this vender. The fuel pump is expensive ($421), and difficult to find (OEM version). So I
want to be sure about them before ordering.
Thanks,
don

I wouldn't trust oempartsonline. I see RockAuto has pumps for it here. Read the specs to make sure you get one thats the right pressure/flow as stock.

I'm in The Great State of Arizona and I've never heard of them. I always assume those quick and first links in Google or DuckDuck-Go are Al slop meant to scam me, so it's good you checked here first.
Can you expand on your experience using them to source SE engine housings? If they're local to me, that's valuable information. Thanks, guys.

According to their website, OEM parts online is run out of Norm Reeves Mazda in Irvine Texas. Never dealt with them but there are several others out there as well (Original Mazda Parts, Real Mazda Parts, ect...)
I've ordered from a few of them in the past with success. They are dealerships that offer on line sales. Normally they offer discounted pricing over your local parts counter, but by the time you pay for shipping there may not be any real savings.
Nice thing is if you want to see if a part is still available, they are dealerships, so their system searches Mazda wide. Type in the P/N, and see if it shows as available. Sometimes they list things that are NLA and it will let you place the order, but if they discover its not available, they'll cancel the order.
A couple times, I've gotten the last few remaining stocks in the system that way.

https://parts.mazdausa.com/ is the corporate site, I'd use that to check availability. That one points to other dealer websites but doesn't show their pricing, only MSRP.
My local dealer's prices are annoyingly higher than MSRP.
