not just that but there are all these problems wrong with the car, and cost me $17,700 to buy all these problem, $1,100 in parts and labor to fixed. and there are still some other thing need to be fix.

Man that sucks. Just be prepared to spend much more then 1100 bucks on this car. You did get screwed in the title nd price of the car, but $1100 is basically chunk change in the fd world. IF I was to spend that much on a fd I would expect a perfect car, but just letting you know that this car is going to be expensive.

I paid $19K (I have listed $17.5K in previous threads because I got a $2K legal settlement from the previous owner, of which I saw $1500) for my car and I am over $15K into the rebuild of it. I did run a carfax before I bought it...so I didnt run into the salvage title problem, it was definately a one owner clean title car... Just VERY poorly put together in a way that was not easy to figure out by looking at it. You had to tear into it.

If you have a mechanicaly sound FD for $18.8K then you got screwed but not really, really badly. If there is still a bunch left to do to it to make it sound...then you won't know how bad you were screwed until everything comes apart.

 

I will start putting something in writing today. It really sucks that this happened to someone else too. Maybe Seth learned his leason in karma after his recent experiences...although it was heartbreakingly sad to see what happened to all those FDs...

Steve kan didn't think so niether did the other 10people wwatching when it laid dwn damn near 430rwhp at only 13pounds.... some of the claims u guys make are laughable..... a whole 2months passed when the car wasn't in my hands and its my fault?? If new problems pop up months later.... sure like I said mechinally the car was perfect in my hands and only needed "wear" parts replaced.... the pics iam seeing now is not as I sold it... and ihor your the same guy that was gonna charge this kid 500bucks 4 a 3bar map sensor install lol who's ripping off who??? You still never addressed the issue of the salvage title, which to most of us, is the most important and shady aspect of the deal...

 

Fyi I posted the vin in the thread I was selling it in.. Any1 that did a carfax would see the title is clean like I said......I bought it as a clean title... sold it as a clean title... half the **** on the car right now, was not liek that when I sold it... and I have PICS to prove the quality of which I sold it...... be serious... your a respected member, respected by me but some of your claims are outrageous ihor.... illl respond 2 this thread later..... and don't even get me started on the new owner

And he didnt claim 530 whatever HP was to the wheel, he added approx 443 to the wheel. I never quoted anyone $500 for a 3 bar map sensor install. I would charge 1/2 hour at the most. You must have me confused with someone else. I'd like to know where than information came from. I know most people find my prices more than reasonable. The only information I know on the car is what I have seen in person and had to fix, and what I was told by the owner. I posted this as an example to show how badly some cars are put together and that people actually pay for this kind of work. I never brought any names into this. If the dmv said salvage you have a serious problem.. Are car doesn't change from a clean title to a salvage over night... like I said Iam posting the vin IN THIS THREAD SO EVERYONE CAN CARFAX IT... your up to your nose in bullshit claims..... and its really making me sick... when it comes 2 rx7s you don't know your head from your *** and u have the nerve to bitch about my car? The problem is a dead spot in the map just off idle. That or it could be a problem with the tps. Both should ahve been addressed if the tuner was compitant. Not saying these are your fault. And yes I know what a 6 puck is. I had one for years as well.

 

after 2 days i bought the car, i didn't drive it ontill after i registered, and right after i registered i bring to Ihor's shop and he told me all the problems, told me i shouldn't drive it ontill everything is fix, so i drove it home never driver it ontill lastweek when i bring the car to Mr.Ihor to fix it. And he fixed all the thing that were posted.

Steve isn't a competent tuner anymore?? News to me... the car was tuned in atlanta ga.. And it ran perfect 4 me and produce great numbers.... for a 67mm turbo and a street port iam producing power *low boost* in the same range people with much bigger turbos and ports.. So sumthin must be right.. Only problem I can think of is a change in climate thru off the tune... but for tuning questions contact steve kan.. He's the only 1 that ever touched my map..
And ihor if you know how a 6puck clutch engages why bring it up as a complaint??? See what I meen bout *looking* for things 2 complain about..... *rx7kid* I have no words 4 u.... iam just happy I documented every step I took with this car and the condition it WAS in.. So when u guys throw bs claims on the forum I can glady prove them wrong and say "thanx you come again"... every1 that thinks iam a scammer search my name and see how many times I've sold parts and bought parts on this forum with no complaints lol.... this is 2easy

I dont se the problem here other than the title situation.. The buyer went to look at the car. He saw what he was buying. Those problems arent hidden by any means. I just dont get how a seller can be considered a scammer just because the buyer is "unaware" of rx7's. To be honest with you, those things arent expensive to fix, other than the interior peices. I just dont really se the problem here
