I like the smoothness of the ran racing kit!
Like a Ferrari or something.

Soul assasins kit kicks ***! Check it out on his other posts.
I think one of the kits should have a non popup headlight conversion.
Also I would love to see some different taillights the stock ones are so dated. Nothing ricey just updated.

This kit is the best i've seen. It's modern and wild, but keeps the original beauty of the FC.

Dave can you give us an update on this body kit project? Do you have any drawings or anything yet? I'm really excited to hear about it.

Talking

Ya I'm all giddy with excitement. I'm curious on what direction you're going. There are a few body kits already available that I particularly enjoy two of which are the Knight Sports Front end, the one shown before, and also the Feed front end showcased on the animation Initial D. Anyways, hopefully everything is in full swing and i can't wait to see what kind of ideas you've come up with!!

Peace,
AJ ^_^

Here is the most recent update:

I talked to Leonard about a week ago, and he is traveling around to a few autoshows. Of course, the recent tragedy has caused some delays and so forth, so he is a bit behind schedule. He is days away from completing his other body kit project and then it is on to ours . As soon as we get together and get more details, make no mistake I will post here to everyone. I will also have the same information on my site when it becomes availible.

my first post, but i been readin all these people's ideas and just the thought that a custom kit is being thought up from everybody's ideas has got me hoping that it comes out great and looks amazing cuz i havent found any body kit where i wanted the whole thing but rather different parts of each put on there. If it looks good, count me down for the pre-order list.

Right on! This kit will definately be the best of all worlds as far as body kits go. Understand that he won't just knock off the best parts and use them to make a kit. It isn't his style and quite frankly, it's stealing others work. He will though take the ideas from all of the most popular pieces, along with his amazing design team and make something that compliments the FC, brings it up to date with design in mind, and keeps the price range down so that people can buy it and still feed the family

Once the designs/drawings are done, that is when he will begin taking pre-orders. Keep in mind that if the pre-orders aren't filled, then he can't make the kits for production. Those of you with business knowledge know what I mean. I hardly think that will be a problem though

nomadtw - Do you have anything more specific on that thought? Maybe a sketch or picture of something you saw that you liked?

i would like a front lip spoiler like they have available for the 89-91 rx-7's. they don't make one for the 86-88's. and i think that would be cheap and simple to make.

well... i wish i had art skills, but i was hoping for something that was very smooth and flowing, slight fender flares, i like the built in spoiler but it'd be a very tricky piece to pull off, the bumper i was hoping to be rounded off and go slightly forward, but not too much, a hole in the front big enough for a fmic, but not so bit it looks like it's drowning and trying to breathe...and holes for fog lights! (feel my subaru roots) but i like flat front bumers, not round and then sticking back out at the bottom

thx

Cool good ideas.

Im liking the way this post is going, but i want to make sure we dont go overboard. I would rather have a hella nice kit, that flows with the original body, so it doesnt look too over the edge. You can see on some cars the body kits make them look cheap and flimsy, i think we should have somthing where its a solid design so it would look so to the un-trained eye that it hasnt been modfied.
I trust the designs though and i am sure they will come out the way everyone wants them too. Keep up the good work, im really excited to see what you guys come up with!

This is my favorite hood but what if it rains.. Wouldn't it be Kool to have bad weather inserts for this type of inverted hood setup
this with the RE Amemyia headlights

although my girl pionted out that while the hood and the headlighte look great the bottom skirt of the RE was way to Ghetto looking or Ricey Whatever.. NOT Stock noticabley aftermarket..
