How about a mild kit, and a wild kit? Let's face it, we all can't agree on one kit. Why not make one kit mild, consisting of a front lip spoiler, side skirts and rear apron. And make a more agressive kit consisting of a front bumper replacement, side skirts with maybe some door caps, and a rear bumper replacement. And what the hell, maybe a wide body kit? And yes, please make a decent wing for a convertible....

A mild and a wild kit would be phat. Personally I'm not a big fan of making the car super wild so I'll probably take the wild kit. I love the sunroof air dam idea. I'd hit that up.
Peace,

A rear spoiler that was similar to the 99 for the 3rd gens, I think run racing made one similar for the 2nd gens. That would be nice. Also would these parts be made of fiberglass or the material that the factory front bumpers and stuff are made of?

I'm wanting the RE2000 front end with the stationary dual headlights/lexan cover. I'll hold off until I see what we can get on this.
I'd like to see a smooth/conservative side skirt.
Since I have a vert, a decent wing for one would be nice.
Wrap it up in the back with a diffuser like some 3rd gens have.
I like the smooth, sleek look more than the agressive shogun style kits.

i would be interested in the RUN kit combined with Mariah style fenders.
Another route would be the GTU IMSA style kit at a reasonable price.
athird idea:
A widebody kit in Carbon fiber designed to be attached via DZUS fasteners

my dream kit:
1. RE-2000 Front
2. Panspeed Side Skirts
3. Erebuni Style 370 Rear
4. Panspeed Wing
5. make up a hood
6. LOWER COST
Make something similar to that as a semi-wild kit... it would be incredible.

The only exception to this may be a wide body kit if we decide to do one.

Definately all good suggestions so far, and it is great to have pictures so that I can show Leonard what we are talking about. I plan on pulling up this thread when I go over there to start drawing out the thoughts on all of these suggestions. I too agree that there should be a variety of kits avail to everyone. Keep in mind, that these kits will cost right around 1/2 of the current prices for kits/parts like Knight Sport, RE Ameyia, and more like a 1/3 the cost of the Mariah stuff(although there product is superb)
The material is still a toss up. We have to go over the designs and plans on what we are going to do before we commit to a material. Some parts may not have the strength with one material as it would in another due to a design. He is the professional though, so he will be making these decisions
These are my initial thoughts...
1. Make at least 2-3 different kits or 2-3 different styles of parts that could be made into a kit(if someone could not buy the kit as a whole, but wanted to do it in pieces)
2. Keep these in the budget of the average FC owner. This ain't Japan, and we can't afford(for the most part) those sweet assed kits that they have
3. Nothing will be ricey. Call me an *******, but I refuse to contribute to someone putting some sort of imitation Honda ninja/combat/samurai whatever front end on the car and drive it around with the bumper primered white or grey with the rest of the car painted. Sorry. I will though use some of the styling and some of the the thoughts behind some more wild aftermarket bumpers, wings etc to come up with something that appeals to a majority of FC owners.
4. I will be posting pictures of anything and everything to my site that needs feedback before continuing further along in the process. That means, when we have a drawing, I will post it and ask for feedback. When we have a soft mold, we will get feedback...etc..etc..etc. This whole thing is being done so that the rest of you, myself included, can have a kit for our cars since every other manufacturer for the most part seems to think that we don't exist anymore. I beg to differ...
5. As with all of my other write-up on my site, this one will get no special privledges. What that means is I am not going to hold back punches just because mine is going to be free. If I think something should be told to other FC owners, it will be told. Consider me the Rush Limbaugh of FC owners Hopefully we will catch any problems before they hit the market. Depending on how these kits go, we may even get into other things, like internal parts to the cars
Stay tuned...and keep up the great suggestions and pictures!!

hell yes the C-West kit
I was wondering when people would wake up and when someone would mention that kit... thats the best looking kit i've ever seen on a FC
How about you do the fender flares at another time? Those are mostly a waste unless you want to be
"ghettofabulous in your p1mpin N/A 7 when it could have been a turbo if you hadn't wasted your money on a bodykit and rims"
I think if you could do the scoop from MazdaSpeed, the split one; for a better price than they make it; i'd be very interested in that and a C-West type kit... I bet a set of Gozigen Copse would be SWEEEET with that kit
This would make me think twice about making my FC my backup car

THE KIT
Hey, here's the C West kit
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Make the turn signal lenses like the 99 jspecs for the FD, or something similar, it would be nice to turn our cars into something that retains the beauty of the FC, but makes it look more modern. Am i way off here, or does someone else agree with me?
Integrating non popups into the kit also, like the RE Amemiya front end, would be the sweeetest kit in the world, i would be the very first on your list.
The nice thing is it isnt the wildest thing in the world, but it still grabs attention, it looks frickin awesome.
