IIRC, you were conceived (made) in the back seat of a RX-3

Had nothing to do with the motor. Just loved the styling of the FD and the size.

I was with my wife when she bought a 93 929. This red fd was on the lot in Carlsbad and I loved the styling of the car. 2 years ago I found a 93 fd sitting covered under a tree for about 10 years. I knew then it was my destiny to own one. Little did I know that it would become my mistress, except cost me more and give me more problems in the restoration process. But now that it is finished I'm glad I got her. Everyone wants to stop and talk about rotaries and I love that aspect of it.

^^ hahah thats ******* dope!!!

thats what i love about the Rotary scene, that ppl of all ages, races, etc, who know rotary will come up and talk to you..

thats soo awsome.. rotaries are a close community.. which makes us a lot more different than most car owners.. imo

And most of all, some rotary owners wear tight pants.

I saw a gold 86 Rx7 with RE fr. bumper in Modified mag that I feel in love with when I was 18, and I almost got a 240sx like everyone else but I wanted to be different. I looked for a bunch of cars, but ended up finding an gold 86 gxl 10 houses away from mine. Destiny. I have since owned 3 different fc's and currently own Dori Fc (look it up [88 turbo]).

So like one day I was walking down teh street, and like seen this dude in a Red GTUs. I was by a yoshinoya beefbowl, when he and a buddy pushed it into teh parking lot. Astonished, I asked " What kind of car is this?"...The driver was wearing tight pants and a freddy kreuger sweater shirt thing and says "Uhh, my name is J-himen and this is my fail FC GTUs". I was like " Word, but really doggy, what car is this?". J-himen says, " It's an RX7 and has a rotoree". After that, I bought one.....my biggest regret! The End

Bought my FD in 02' from Turbojeff! Simply put, I love the styling, rarity, handling, feel, smell. I hope I am never forced to sell her.

...First a bit of history: in the 1990s, USDM vehicles where of a lower caliber than any import of the time... having that said there were three mighty warriors whos names rung louder across the land: MAZDA RX7, TOYOTA SUPRA, and NISSAN GTR... through the quest of being canyon king, i needed a suitable throne. i lost my car and in search of a fast car came across the mythological rotary creature, i had to have it. when you speak of its engine, its like mentioning unicorns exist!!! when you tell them its twin turbo stock, you have made them question their god! and that to me is beautiful...
