yup, his dad did the exhaust in my RX-4 back in the days. His former shop was off huntington drive (few blocks west of Easter) in El Sereno. He did a much better work than AJAX Muffler
I was born into it....seriously...my dad worked on them since they came out in the late 60's doing muffler work on them....It is passed on to me....i inherit the trade of work and the
passion for the Rotary Mazda's.....One day i will pass it on to my next generation so it will be a 3rd gen....Mazda rotary head LOL...
Oh,...My dad is still a rotary head....He owns a Rotary REPU Truck(25 years).....and a 06 Rx8 GT......
Me myself have:
2-FD's Touring and R1
2-FC's GXL and Turbo 2
1-Rx3 Race car
1-Rx2 (616) with 20B turbo
1-Rx7 1st gen Race car
IM A ROTARY FREAK!!

Victor got me into RX-3 back in 1981. He owned multiple RX-3's and a few REPU before he switched to his current ride, turbo rotary 510. My favorite was his RX-3 with a kamikaze stripe. Memories of stadium way, gardena and west covina area. It became an addiction. So far, I have owned over 2 dozen RX's (except for RX-2, R100, Cosmo and FD). Thats because back then, you can pick up any old school for roughly $500, grab a running 12-A motor at pick a part in Sun Valley or private sellers @ recycler, then sell it for at least $1500.

i learned to drive a manual transmission and learn more about maintance on cars when i recived a free running rx7 from my cusin. LOVED the powerband in the rpms, the smoothness of the engine. really the rx7 has taught my alot about rotarys, cars in general, engine tech, etc
I know or have read just about everything on the car ( 2nd gen). and have almost done them myself too. probly expect engine porting. but i wouldn't trade..

I decided to get one since the fd prices finally droped into just the right price range for me to snag one for cheap. Love the car, but to bad I cant drive it till summer. For now it sits in the garage...
