So he has time and shop space to work on his own car, but not a paying customer’s? Also, how much can he respect someone else’s ride if he doesn’t respect his own?
The best part is this is the only comment you choose to defend against.
Why would you assemble the front cover and oil pan if you haven’t yet set endplay?
sounds like more bullshit.
Straight dumb the picture was after the op and John got the spacer. Engine has been in the car for weeks the owner is buying parts to finish it turbo manifold ect.

Parts have all been bought i notified john when i got them last week. Last bits (downpipe and oil feed/return lines for turbo) from Turblown are being delivered to the Long Beach location tomorrow. 👍
Wait, you got an oil pan? When Addicted sold me a 10,000 dollar motor and I waited two years (and spent twice that 10 grand) to get the car running, I didn't get an oil pan!
My veiled message: Count your blessings. If it's got good compression, be glad you got anything at all. The few rotary shops left are playing Monopoly these days..

I had to buy a new oil pan cause my old one was dented.
Id like to think that voicing my troubles wouldn’t cause any mischief in terms of the build especially to remain professional. We are not teens or immature adults (i hope) . Although i’ve voiced taking my business elsewhere, they’ve completed my engine already (fine with me) and i would prefer to keep any issues of my car handled by them so it doesn’t void my engine warranty if someone else touches it.
Yeah i here ya on that. I’m trying to stay positive by these kind of responses but don’t get me wrong i’m indeed frustrated still.
-Engine rebuild w porting - 2500$
-Oversized studs + machining (what we were gonna go w back in 2017 but now 2019 and Elite studs are available so we went w those) - 470$
-Housing Resurfacing - 300$
-Rotating Assembly Balancing - 370$
-Engine reinstall labor (mind you i actually ended up being there and helped dropping it into the car even tho thats what i paid the shop to do) - 700$
-Everything in the invoice below paid for too.
Total given to shop 5,566.13 and don’t currently owe anything (All other parts like turbo kit, fuel kit, etc, i sourced and brought myself)

Just an observation, but looking at your windshield, it looks like it's been sitting outside for a long while. Hope the interior isn't getting sun damaged.
Seems legit, I’m subbed just to see how well the motor holds up. I think you should hire a video editor kid to help the YouTube channel and help around the shop. He’ll pay for himself and maybe the YouTube **** will pay for more help.. Also, how the **** is John gonna be in the business of building rotaries and not be a member of the OG rx7club? This is where it started..
