This is my current setup
-saleen sc replicas 17x10 +20
-15mm adapters up front
-5mm spacer out back
-federal tires
-215/40 up front
-235/40 out back

Work equips on the way, 17x9.5/10.5, but currently deployed so when i get home they'll be on, stay tuned!

595SS or RS-R?

I just wore out my first set (well, just the rear really) so I'm upgrading to RS-R. I'm getting them installed tomorrow.

I liked the 595's for drifting but in terms of track days they're awful. Too squishy and not enough grip. They're fine on the street though.

I got my RS-R's installed and they're way, way stiffer and they seem to have as much grip when cold as the SS's do when hot.

But they only last half as long and cost more...

Also, you can't store them in near-zero temperatures.

On another note, they don't have rim protectors so you have *just* that extra bit of clearance for fitting sizes. My front's used to stick out just a bit (a no-no in Japan) and now they fit in the fenders.

My 595 RS-R do kinda have rim protector flange.

Its not the "hanging way out there flange" like the old Trampio V-mode but the sidewall is built up flush to the rim lip where it comes down to the bead.

Its not the old "bubble" sidewall like an Hankook RS-3, which is what I think of if someone says it has no rim protector flange.

It has nothing compared to the 595SS... which sticks out over half an inch.

Hey guys,
I need help determining if these will fit on a stock FC suspension.
I'm almost certain they are too tall, but haven't found a post to confirm. At $450 with %80 tread I think I'm just hoping they will fit....

I've searched and haven't found anyone running this tire size.

235/55 R17 17x7 rim
the guy can't tell me the offset, other then they came of an 08 mustang. ( I think I can make them work with spacers )

THANKs,
Aaron

The closest I could see on there are 235/50/17 and they should fit on a stock FC without issue. So I think you're good height wise.

Also, can anyone tell me how this will fit:
17x7.5 +31
17x8 +33

I'm stock height right now, but will lower the car by 1-1.5 inches when I can buy springs. Unless I find a decent set of coilovers for cheap. I don't want to roll or pull fenders, but I might if I have to since the wheels look sick.

So whats the verdict with running what size over fender with a 19x10 +4? Will a 30mm do just fine? (Rear only)

Which will give the better flush look 17x8 +20 all around or 17x8 +40 all around?
Will be using stock S4 fenders and stock suspension at first then sooner changing to aftermarket shocks and coilover sleeves.

Rims I will be using are Tsw Snetterton's

Thank you

The +20. The +40 won't fit.

Evo 8 17X8 wheels on FC

Picked up a set of Evo 8 wheels today, came with 235/45R17 tires. Rims are said to be 17X8 35mm offset. Fit well but the 235 is too much for front. I need 225 or 5 mm spacer. I did not pick the color (Neon Green). My old Primax 618 rims 17X7 38mm offset are shown as a comparison.

Thanks

I have a friend selling some Volk TE37 19x9.5/8.5 +43
How will these fit the FC? The plus side is with tires they are the same height as my stock wheels/tires.

I don't have coil overs yet, but test fitting on the back looked promising... another friend says they will be sunken once I get coil overs.. Im trying to do my best to not heavily modify my fenders, but go for that old school "bolt up and go" tuner look.

19s were NOWHERE near my radar, till my friend called me up, and I actually played with a test fit.... For the price and what Im "envisioning" my fitment to be, Im sold on buying them...

Question about rolling fenders... does it reduce the strength of the fender if you roll them? What are the downsides?

They will not fit at all without spacers. You will hit suspension up front and shields in the back. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

You will need a 10-15mm spacer up front. 225 to 255 up front depending on suspension and front lip roll.

Back will fit fine with up to ~275 wide.
