Yeah I want to step up to 17x9s and flush it out a bit. Also go a bit lower.

9.5" in the front. Would it fit under stock fenders, if so what size offset?

I finally got one of my sets of SSR type C rims mounted up on my S5 GXL. They are the gun metal spoke 17 x 8.5" 42mm offset. I had to use bolt-on hub centric spacers; 17mm in the front and 22mm in the rear. I also had to roll the front fender lips with my Eastwood tool to get them to fit properly. I still have the stock style KYB AGX struts/shock and Eibach springs on the car. With coilovers I could have used a thinner front spacer. Tires are 225/45-17 Continental DW front and rear. The combo is very light weight at only 36.0 to 36.5 lbs. The bolt-on spacers are 1.7 lbs front and 2.0 lbs rear. The old 16" combo were 42.5 to 43.0 lbs. You really notice the difference with the lighter combo on the car. I went with the non-staggered setup so that I can rotate the tires for street use - plus no need to induce any understeer with wider rear tires on a under powered n/a S5

Anyone here have a set of tsw nurburgring 17x8 with a offset of +30. a picture would be great. If you have coilovers any issues with fitment or had to roll fenders? Thanks.

Nice wheel about 18 lbs too, but I thought those were only available in a 35mm offset.

But if they are available in a 30mm offset, it all depends on the tire width, but those should fit perfectly with either stock style struts & spring or coilovers and say a 225/45-17 tire - may not even need to roll the front fender lips.

http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm

A wider front tire like a 235/40-17 or 245/40-17 would most likely require coil overs, the fender lip rolled and/or more negative camber in the front.

Varstoen. 18x9.5 +12 / 18x10.5 +15
225/40 || 235/40
Pulled in the back and still rubbing the sidewall off. 1.5 degree of camber all the way around.

Deaconblue, I can't remember if it was a +30 or +35 offset. I have the link open at home ill have to double check. If it is a +35 any issues? Right now I have Tein coilovers. I wanted to try to avoid rolling fenders(I love the body how it is), but if I have to then I have to.

Thanks for the help. Ill check out that link when I get home. Just want to get all the info before I do anything.

With coilovers the 35mm offset should not be a problem.

I'm running 17x9's 24 offset with 245's in front. 17x11's 24 offset with 275's in the rear of my '87. Have MDU coilovers, 2.5° camber in the rear, and 1.6° camber in front. All I have done as far as the body goes, is I rolled the inside fender lip on all four corners. Very seldom does it rub, and I drive VERY spirited. :-) The rims are stock FR500 wheels

Not a problem. Been raining, and the cars dirty, excuse the mess. If I could figure out how to post the pics here, from my phone, I would. Seems there's a lot of people that think my setup is impossible. :/

I'm looking at a set of 18x9.5 +15p front and 18x10 +15p rear. am I gonna have inner clearance coilover issues? I believe they can be made to order in a different offset/size but don't wanna pay the big bucks extra that'll cost. also out of interest they also do a 18x12 0p mmmmmm!

Hope it's not a repost but I've seen conquest / station wheels on a 7 and I have yet to see a car they don't look great on... Plus I have them on my z31 so z31 wheels will fit on an fc 7.

Nah I dont think you will have clearance issues. Im running nearly the exact same set up and after a test fit, the wheels fit fine. Its very close, but its fine. I'm running Stance GR+ and Varrstoen 1.1 in 9.5 +12 and 10.5 + 15.
