The Official FC Wheel Fitment Thread
Yes, but you will need ~10mm spacers up front to keep the wheels from hitting the suspension.
It will fit under stock fenders, but the wheels will be sunken just a tad.
Clean car, btw!

The tire isn't the issue here. The extra half inch width on your wheels as well the higher offset puts the inner edge of the wheel dangerously close to your suspension components. For this wheel width, the recommended offset is around 35 or lower. The spacers will also improve the look of the wheels on the car, in my opinion. Good luck!
I haven't looked thru this whole thread yet, but it looks like most people do large'ish wheels on the fc? I'm looking to get another car, just a fun summer car, but I'd be interested in making an fc "old school" Anybody have good pics of an fc done in this style?
Yes, you can run a 10mm in the rear to balance the look. And correct, you'll need longer studs when running spacers larger than 5mm.
so i am looking at these 16x7 with a 40mm offset. think it should work on 90 gxl
heres the link. i really like these for the look i wanna go for.

Can you fit 17x9 all around with coilovers without rubbing or sticking out? 255 in rear and at least 235 in front.
What offset would it take? I'd like to have the wheels all be the same size, but spacers are ok.

You sure can. You'll need a good flare on the lip of the fender or overfenders.
You'll want a 17x9 +24 or lower offset. I've run 17x9 +24 w/ 255/40/17 all around in the past, now I'm running 17x9 +17 with the same tires sizes. My current flare on the stock fender didn't last, so I installed panspeed flares up front.

well i clearly didnt know that. why else would i ask a question. i knew the t2 had 16s but i didnt know the offset. so sorry i asked a question and thought you guys would be cool about answerig it.
It has nothing to do with being cool about it, the answer to the question you asked is clearly stated in the FAQ thread.
my bad that was a typo. its 17x9
what would you suggest up front? Just trying to get something that looks flush but that i can do a little shredding with... o and it stock lowering springs.
