Turbo Caculator
Has anyone use that Turbo Calculator program to select the right turbo for your RX7?? Trying to find a turbo that will give me great spooling and power. Its going to be driven on the street.
Mods 1993 FD
3.5" DP to 3" REAmiya duck tail exhaust
E6K
4x850s
front mount apexi cooler
rx7.com pump
FP regulator
street ported motor
Was running a TS04 Turbonetics(they suck)
Any help would be greatly appriciated
Thanks Diego

What kind of power are you looking to make? There are a couple of great spooling turbos out there that can still hit the mid 400rwhp range. Or are you looking to get into the 500whp range?

for the 450rwhp + area i would personally run 2x 1600's along with 2x 850's at least thats what i have and a/f's are very safe( also running 2 walbros) 440rwhp @ 16psi........i have a t-78 and love it..i do drive on the street almost all of the time
but im sure you'll get varied responces

I was about to suggest the same turbo that Carl is running for the power level you want. From Carl's dyno charts that turbo is a BEAST and it's at a great price.

FYI the GT40 from Turbo Calculater is for a Scandia truck.Thats why its sooooo heavy and you then need to cut the casting and the weld a flange or have one made like I did.
Then the bolt pattern didnt fit a standerd manifold.
I sold this and never used it. TC should show you what you are getting 1st.
I have the TO4R instead.
