Water and Air intercooler

I been thinking about it, and I think it would work. Run a normal air to air intercooler, but then run the water to air intercooler in the pipeing between the throttle bodie and the air to air intercooler. Anyone have any input on this idea?

I was thinking about doing it... decided not to though. I dont know why, it just seemed easier at the time. I didn't get much info on it when I was looking but I just came across this post in the 3rd gen section...
