On lots of cars, rotary is feasible also. Supras were maxing out around 700whp I think with the normal 6765. Now theyre making ~850whp max. Huge difference, so it proves its not a marketing hype. Its not the manufacturer showing these results, its all the tuners.

Haters? Sorry Tupac, I prefer to call them 'skeptics,' or 'conservative.'
having said that, I'll probably be rocking one of these bitches once they release the smaller snails

I'm still happy with my choice of Precision, once spring flies I'll be happy to post my results, although some smaller offerings by Garrett would be stellar!

News Update: At local tuner (MD/DC/VA area) ISP (ispracing.com), they recently tuned yet another supra on a new billet 6765 turbo and the significant thing was that the car HAD a regular 67 cast turbo on it (a pte 6776) before the swap...
This particular car made 586rwhp at 25psi on its older cast turbo, and 760rwhp at 30psi on the billet 6765* I don't have the info on what the billet was making at equal boost (25psi) but they said it was definitely much more than 586rwhp...
Whats most signifancant in all this however was that the billet 6765 had an even broader powerband than the regular 67 and spooled even quicker! (about ~250rpms earlier). Did not drop off up top either...
For the love of god, has someone tested on of these on a well prepped 13B yet?? I'd love to see a nice street ported 13b, on E85, at 24psi & 30psi (street and race settings) to see what it'll do. Spool should be good enough for road racing to boot...

"760rwhp at 30psi on the billet 6765"
so we know it can make 76 pounds per minute of air.
a regular 67 makes 73 max based on the compressor map.
i have a hunch the 6765 was not maxed at 760...

Your hunch is right howard. AWDMotorsports made over 900awhp on an Evo: http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyn...-t3-turbo.html
And that was the T3 hotside.
Just waiting for the thaw!
