If anyone is interested, I'm going to have a Precision JB 6768 (HP-Q) turbo up for sale by this weekend with essentially no run-time.

just to revive this thread
I've been thinking to sell my BNR stage 3 turbos and go for the 6765 with T4 divided(goal is 500whp) but i'm not sure which A/R is better for my large streetport for better spooling... 0.96-1.00??

I know it's a big step and the only thing that kept me from going single so far was the spooling issue...but if i can get 20psi below 4000rpm with much more power i think i'll take it...

you should be able to hit 500 with the 6265 and save yourself a bit of money. That's my goal with it anyways.

I'd venture to say running 21-23psi with the turbo will probably put you in the 470-480whp area....If someone squeeks out 500whp with it I will be a very happy man.

I'm gonna be running e85 which might (crosses fingers) be enough to get me over that hump. Theoretically the turbo should be able to produce around 520 based on airflow. I'll have to go get my notes with all the calculations, but its a 70 lb/min turbo.

At 22 psi on a 6765 .96a/r I made 470 on a dynojet. Motor was a large street port, 93 pump with water injection.

this is a good question. I've said I'll turn it up until I run out of turbo or fuel just to say I hit 500, but I don't think I'll turn it up past 22 or 23 regardless.

Can you post the dyno sheet?
How many rpm till you get full boost?

I don't have the dyno sheet. I hit full boost between 3900 to 4100rpm.

6765, .96ar, street ported S4

Dyno Dynamics numbers. Add 15% for Dynojet. Figure 460 whp on the common Dynojet at 16 psi.
Ran out of fuel on the 16 psi run. It leaned out enough we stopped the run early. There's a few more ponies in it with the enough fuel and more revs.

13psi

16 psi

I'd hope for 500rwhp at that boost level.

yeah, that sounds too low, especially since we just saw a gtx35r make 500 at roughly that pressure
