Usually people start showing around 10. Hopefully I will be buying an FB like I used to have so I can get back in the car game.
If that is happening tonight I might come out, will be on the bike though. Let me know.

Hi guys I am getting ready to do a 13B swap from a 86 NA car. It will be going into a 74 Triumph Spitfire racecar. I bought the whole car running for $1K but I am only using the engine and tranny. The racecar only weighs 1400 lbs so this motor should push it down the track pretty good. I just want to go out and beat the crap out of some miata's LOL. Being as the car is not street legal I won't be able to bring it out to play. I wish I could post pics from my work puter but photobucket is blocked and that is where all my pics are

Last Friday night the turn out was pretty strong for the little meet we do on James Island off of Folly Road. We had about 8 slammed Miata's, a yellow FD, nice looking blue Rx-8 with gold wheels, and then a spread of 240's. Also managed to flag a V-10 Audi R8 down that came and let us drool over it while he let us take turns revving it up. Hopefully it keeps growing. If anybody is interested it's every Friday night around 10-11:30/12.

Being as I am at work I think this the link to my spitfire. Should be bad *** when the 13b is dropped in. Pulled out the alfa motor last night. 13B will be here on Saturday

Getting rid of an '87 FC shell. Figured I would see if any locals are interested.

- Full 5 lug swap with new reman front turbo calipers
- n/a diff and axles
- correctly de-powered steering rack
- no engine, trans, or driveshaft
- interior is 90% gone

$350 gets all the parts and the car. Would make a great missile or the shell alone should be worth at least $200 at the scrap yard should you choose to part it out. Will not come wheels so bring some to roll it out of my garage.

I live in ga, had 2 87s in the last 6 years, I've gone out of the area to get work done. I do suspect the FD will be any easier. I so a lot of work myself. PM me

I actually think I met you once gxl90rx7. I did go to one or 2 meets up there before leaving. I think it was a meet at Kmart on rivers?

Hey, lets try to get a meet going this weekend.
Saturday, Oct. 5th.

Suggestions include:
Meet at the "Cars & Coffee" meet, usually in Mt Pleasant, in the morning.
Not sure where though.

Or like old times meet at the Kmart on rivers at noon, then decide what to do/where to go after that.

Or meet at the "ricer meet" at night around 10pm.
Although I haven't been to the "ricer meet" in a long time. Usually they meet on rivers, last time I went they meet across from the Kmart on rivers.

There's cars and coffee every month (don't know the schedule), and I know people used to meet in front of the burlington coat factory on Sunday nights - I've heard that may have moved, but it was pretty cool!
