I usually make it, another friend of mine usually makes it in his silver FD, and a 3rd friend makes it when he can, and hes in a gunmetal FD.

If you see a white miata making a racket (v8), go near that, and you'll find my white FD.

Ill definitely be at the February upstate C&C, in the meantime, does anybody know a rotary mechanic in the upstate? My secondary turbo isnt producing boost and id rather ask 1st and only dig in and tear apart myself if its necessary

I'd be willing to take a look at it, but i'm far from a "rotary mechanic"

I had to troubleshoot some things on my stock turbo setup, then on the simplified sequential setup. I was always able to figure it out, but I <3 my single turbo.

I also have a set of stock twins. The cast parts arent in great shape, but the turbos always made great boost, so you could use parts off of them and parts off of yours to make a great set.

Also have a couple of FD buddies who would probably be up for meeting another.

what it sounds like that one of your hoses going to the actuator that moves the shutter door to spool the second turbo is eather not working due the hose or theres a problem with the solenoid. Look around for obvious crap first if thats all good pull the intake stuff off and make sure the hoses that go to the wastegate and that actuator on the bottom of the exhaust manifold is in good shape even if they are in decent condition I would go ahead and replace them with new stuff since you got it apart.

Thanks , It's looking like we are going to have some decent weather this weekend so I'm going to hit cars and coffee tomorrow early and then spend the rest of the weekend checking lines as suggested, as well as wiring up the new wideband sensor and gauge

SC New (relatively) to the Upstate

I relocated from western North Carolina to Spartanburg almost two years ago and somehow missed this thread. Would love to get together with other owners in the area. I have a one owner '95 PEP, completely stock.

Simpsonville checking in

Hello my name is Josh and I live in Simpsonville.

I am getting prepared to buy my first rx-7. Looking to get a 3rd gen. I am thinking of buying from addicted performance unlimited in the Knoxville area.

Anyway, I am sure I will be reaching out for tips and looking to meet up.

Just a list of my past cars.
95 240sx
04 350z
04 350z vert
05 350z vert
06 mazdaspeed6
09 370z
13 mazdaspeed3

So, I guess I have been through a lot. Lol

Anyway, I have always wanted this car and hope to have one soon.

Since there is a dyno coming up, some if you need more go fast stuff! Buy a few parts, save a little. Buy them all and save a LOT! Make me an offer. Send me an email address or phone number, and I'll send pics.
