Please! A civic has got more ***** than that thing!!!
lol...all smilies in this post are courtesy of www.SRTforums.com

I know it was a lame and long winded(not to mention slow) comeback. But it took me awhile to copy all the smilies from SRT forums over, lol. You win

^you should visit the kills section and talk some smack, haha. With over 100 posts it would be obvious you weren't just trolling, but there would still be some HUGE, uh, "discussions". LOL.
Check out these new Michelin 'see-through' tires...
TSIA...
PS:
IMHO... It sure would be nice the rest of you guys would post your pics as thumb nails instead of hosing up the whole screen with all those hugh pics that don't fit with some of us OF's who use a lower res number so type is large enough to read, or in the case where you want to put the dang montior back about three feet... makes the whole page of that thread have to be scrolled to be read... also goes for some of the sigs with extra wide stuff...
Jes a suggestion...
Ya ol timers can proceed with the flames... got me triple layer Nomex on... ;)

they HATE SRT-4s in there! that would be so funny. Also, those see through tires are interesting. They seem to be pretty well designed. Geometrically, they make total sense. Not sure if I would depend on them... since... well... AIR has been a natural resource for quite some time.
Some additional comments that accompanied the post that came with the pics... they are not mine...

Radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires.
They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show.
These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.
The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires.
This is what great R&D will do, and just think of the impact on existing technology:
a. no more air valves
b. no more air compressors at gas stations
c. no more repair kits
Those are actual pictures taken in the South Carolina plant of Michelin. It will be awhile before they are available to the automotive industry.

And one more additional pic showing 'um leaning on 'um...

ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME KILLED?!?!...I might just try that
Perkystina (i think that was it, sorry if i got it wrong) suggested that i post this in here so here goes:
The idea is to invade a friday night test n tune at a drag strip somewhere in southern VA. The event would be purely for fun.
Format would be each race is worth 1pt for your team. Team with the most points at the end of the night wins.
This is just to see how many would be interested in attending to see whether its worth my time to find a venue and figure out a date.
Thanks,
Rob

Nic, about the rx8 thing it's cool i think i was having a bad week. i do agree in the rx8 has better weight distribution, and is probably easier to whip around, since it was designed with handling in mind. i still think a driver that is accustomed to FWD or a driving god like Matt
who can drive anything, would give an rx8 a run for the money.
How about the time attack on this weekend? You guys are real fast......................................on the computer

Johny, that sounds awesome...don't know who would all be up for it but I'm interested! I'll have to talk to Keri about it since I'm dragging her up to Deal's Gap in a couple of weeks for the B.O.T.D./anniversary getaway. I can't wait for the Gap though...Pettit Racing is unveiling for the first time their Stage 3 supercharged RX-8, I'm gonna take an *** load of pics.

That's what I get for poking in the rotary forums, lol. But we will see what's up once I get some suspension work done.
