Life After Rbq
Well, I'll try and make breakfast with y'all at the Cracker Barrell Saturday morning. What time will y'all be there?
-I agree with Josh about sucking fun.
Now after the RBQ. The Blue Angels are gonna be flying at Oceana NAS, VA the weekend of September 9-10. I'd sure like to make it up there for a road trip and see their air show. We could make the Sunday show if that would allow more people to drive up.
Then the Thunderbirds are flying at Seymour-Johnson AFB in Goldsboro October 15. That would be a good road trip and we could all stay with Nic and Keri. Anyone interested in making the trip?
I was thinking of having a rotary memento theme for an RRDI soon. Everyone bring any rotary related items they've come across and share them with the rest of your Drive-In buds, toys, literature, books, old sales brochures, etc. Might be interesting. I know Johny has a bunch of rotary items to exhibit.
Also can we get a tuning session scheduled for our rotaries? Ben had a deal proposed with a dyno shop for $50 a session as long as we had a minimum number of participants and Alex, 13b4me, said he'd like to come up and help us street tune our rotaries if we could get a shop lined up. How many are interested in doing that this fall?
I am off the midnight schedule and back on days now and actually beginning to feel human again. We're gonna have a active fall season, we got our Zoo trip, the Brits & Battleship Car Show, we might be able to get a rotary class open if we have some guys interested in showing their cars.

Bert, glad to hear you're still alive!LOL Well, we are meeting at the CrackHead Barrel at 8am. Hope to see ya there. Also, I was gonna mention the Thunderbirds airshow to everyone at the next meet...I think it would be good road trip for everyonr! As far as staying with me and the wife, I'd have to get with Keri about that one.HAHA We might could have a cook-out at our new house on Base. Yeah, we are moving on base the end of next month so, we'll see.

Yeah, everyone's staying at Nic's house, WOOHOO, come on guys let's go!!! Haha. Yeah Bert, you gotta at least see us off. See your children off to the BBQ, heh. I'm down for all the events, both the air shows sound good too (even though we ALL know the Thunderbirds will be better, right Nic?) lol. I don't have many rotary mementos...except for the magazine from Japan and the RX-7 Zippo lighters (which are for sale and I've been meaning to bring them up), and a few other things. But nothing that's older and more interesting like what Johny probably has. And I'll be up for the tuning sessions if I'm getting 10psi at that point, and maybe if I have a few mods. Glad to have you among the living again too Bert.

Bert
so it looks like i will be getting my hinson stuff next week. i am more than a little excited.
anyone know a good a/c shop, one that can make custom hoses? it won't be critical now that the temps are dropping a little, but i need to get my A/C hooked up.
