Got to thinking also, do we need to get the heat gun? And found this link to both from an old post.

sounds good, if we throw the heat gun in there it would be 290 plus shipping. if 4 of us go in on it would be about 75-80. anyone else wanna jump in? the more we get the better.

i can head up the buy, if that is okay with everyone. maybe we should let it ride for a couple of days to see if anyone else is interested. bring down the price some for all of us.

Nobody probably cares, but I finally took my FB around town in Burlington the other day after getting it 2.5 years ago. It did alright. I have some minor bugs that I knew existed before and need to work out and some other small things to do, but it's legal and will drive.

I was planning on using a heat gun from the shop, haha. I can sign it out, but I'm not sure how far I can take it. Johny, I'm pretty sure it can't leave the state, hahaha. Or if all of you guys wanna come down for a BBQ some night, we can roll all our fenders at my place, haha. I found out last night I might need to even flare my fenders a little. I got my wheels. They come all the way out to the edge of the fender, if not a mm or two past. I do like that. However, I do not like that both front and rear wheels are the same depth. The rear wheels have a deeper offset, but with this wheel it doesn't show on the face/lip, it shows behind the wheel, making the void look bigger I guess would be the easiest way to explain it. I wanted more lip on the rear, but oh well. Here are some pics.

Oh yeah, one of the rear wheels had a nick in it already (you can see it in the first pic), but since they'll be getting messed up over time anyway, I'm not sweating it.

Oh yeah, I'm not gonna make it to the meet this weekend either, as much as I'd like to. Gotta help my buddy Inacio move. I'll hopefully see you guys at the next one though.

holy **** we are going to have to get you flared fenders for the front or a lift kit like you see on the old impalas on 24s.

i think you will be okay on the back.

Actually both the back and the front sit about the same against the fenders, they both come right to the edge, if not past a couple mm. First I want to put some tires on and see where I stand though for sure. If the front sticks out farther, I might get some really small spacers for the rear, cause I can't have the front wheels sticking out farther, haha. Here are pics of REH's FD he just sold, and these wheels are for sale right now actually for $800. I'm thinking about picking these up too, haha. He had 11 on the rear, and I forgot what size on the front. It looks like he has them flared a bit though. That's the look I was wanting though. I have the basic look I think, they sit flush with the fenders, but I was hoping the rear would be deeper.

Oh Johny, I really hope not, haha. Dubs if they're sitting sideways maybe, haha.

The rims look good Eric...can't wait to see them with some shoes on! I know you said you might not be going to the Gap with us next month and with not being able to make the meet this weekend, I guess me and Keri will see you at the end of the Sept. Let me know if you need any help, I'm sure we could make a trip to Fayett-nam!

^Well, I'd LIKE to make it to Deal's Gap so I'm still trying, but I have alot of things to do first...fender rolling, alignment, tires, etc. If I can get all that done, I'll be there. I'll just have to find a nice warm spot on the ground to sleep on cause I'm not going to get a room yet if I'm not sure I'm going. Thanks though, all RRDI members are welcome to stop by anytime. Who doesn't want to vacation in beautiful Fayette-nam??? L-O-L!
