I just gave away a literal truck load of FB parts at DGRR this year. Its so hard to sell (or even give away) FB/SA parts. Its not that they aren't worth it, its just that the buyers are few and far between.
I ended up "donating" a lot of my parts to resellers that can rehome the good parts.
well I’m not at DGRR anymore. I’ll just toss this **** out unless someone chimes in soon to offer paying for shipping. If Wankel has run its course just glad I drive one from 86 to 2019… it was a great experience.. my MSM is giving me all the thrills I can stand or afford these days.

The heater box may he a little pricey to ship. I would be interested in the manual for sure. Is the distributor part you have only the spark advance section?
Thinking about painting the car white. Just because its super easy to hide body errors with white paint. BUT the other part of me REALLLLLY wants a Montego Blue FD.
Also, dont take the easy route on color now after all the hard work you've put in. That's just short changing yourself.
When you close your eyes and picture yourself driving it, what do you see? A sexy Montego Blue mid engine FD? Or a boring white blob that blends in with all the other soccer mom cars?

You're right, I'm just doubting myself. I took a feel down the side of the car where I matched the skirt to the steel body and then I took a feel down some previous body work I've done to my Boxster. I don't think the things I'm obsessing over are gonna be noticeable.
I guess worse case senario I'm out $1000 for 3 quarts of base and 2 gallons of HS clear. Yeah, I'm putting 2 gallons of clear on this thing.
Not really two gallons, but 4 coats of clear then 3 "flow coats". It'll probably be 1 and a quarter gallon, but I like having clear around for other projects.
Well, I'm definitely going Montego Blue. If the flaws will hide under black paint; they'll hide under blue. I can still see them, but for my eye they are a 10' affair. Which is fine enough by me.
Finally put up my 12a fuel injection setup in the FS section. School sucks. Willing to make a deal for the OGTA crew if anyone is interested.
I saw that yesterday, GLWS!

I have been unsubscribed to this thread for quite a while. Then yesterday I got an email notification that someone had replied and that I was subscribed again.
Not sure how that happened, but it was nice to get back into it. Good to see it is still going (despite Ray's rants).
I still have my FB. Been driving it lately with this wonderful weather we have been having. Fun to zoom, zoom the gears.
I'll try to keep an eye out for the next meeting.
Meh, over rated; get a "faux repu" Ford Courier with a 12A in it.
There were an awful lot of Camaros and Mustangs during my high school days that got a nasty surprise from that "Faux" Ford Courier with a 13B in it. It was an absolute terror stop light to stop light.
