Does anyone need a set of widebody first gen rear fenders? I also have a set of 4x114.3 wheels to go with it, and a partially melted front fender that could be used to make a mold/reproduction fender.
What about a bolt in 6 point roll cage for a first gen? Or FB fenders, bumpers, and doors? Or a set of 13" stock 'plus' wheels with old tires? Or a set of chrome aftermarket 13" 4x110 wheels? Or a non-turbo FC 5 speed tranny?
I too would like a nice wrap-around FB spoiler and a set of 15x7 +20 4x114.3 wheels
It would have lots of HP Brett, but not my style, I'm a 12A Nikki kind of guy.
If you have SE housings (not sure if 12A intakes are the same bolt pattern) I have a RB manifold drilled for a Nikki carb you could bolt onto a GSL-SE engine. You can power your 13B with a nikki.

I still have a pair of faux duelly wheels that would look mad with a wide body kit. 4X114.3
Again, it was great seeing many of you at this year’s DGRR event last month. As mentioned at the event, longtime OGTA member Stuart Aull (7aull) passed away 2 years ago. We were best friends and rotary brothers. His widow has placed me in charge of selling his rotary belongings, none more precious than his red 1980 GS model SA RX-7, affectionately know by Stu as his “beloved Bastid.”
His SA RX-7 was purchased from an owner in Southern California before being driven to Reno Nevada, then Calgary Alberta, Canada, and finally, Anchorage Alaska. Upon retirement from his media production company, he and his wife relocated from Alaska to Sedona, Arizona, with Stu again making the trip from Alaska to Arizona, and meticulously documenting his travels.
His car is a solid driver with ~140k miles on the chassis. His 200 kph euro cluster currently shows 80k KMs. The original Sunrise Red paint is in VG condition for its age, with a few areas around the wheel wells where he applied POR-15 to stop surface rust from spreading. The car runs limited edition gold waffle wheels on 205/13 rubber.
Mod-wise, the car has stock RX-8 seats, rare euro mirrors, a euro climate control panel, as well as a brushed spoke steering wheel, again only offered overseas. The 12A engine was rebuilt within the last 500 miles using all OE replacement parts and has excellent compression. At that time, the OE exhaust and thermal reactor were replaced by a Racing Beat race header, resonated mid pipe, and euro-style catback. The engine-bay is in impeccable condition, as shown in the images below. The car runs Bilstein yellow shocks on all 4 corners.
Stu would have wanted his car to go to an enthusiast in the RX-7 Club community, preferably an OGTA member. Asking $15k, OBO. Open to all serious offers. Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, might be interested.
Pretty sure I sold some side trim from my SA to him about 12 years back. Glad to see it again. I would LOVE to own it but I have two sevens and a miata. Such a cherry car, good luck with the sale and please sell it to someone who will love and cherish it like he did!
Some additional pics of the undercarriage and calipers on each corner. Stu had installed a later year Gen 1 rear end with LSD and disk brakes. As you can see, the car is very clean, with some minor bubbling around the passenger side rear which he had cleaned up and treated with POR-15. Running Tokico Illumina shocks on the front and Billsten yellows on the rear. New motor rebuild with all Mazda parts. Also, new clutch and exhaust system. I’ll be starting the process of listing this SOON on BAT, unless someone reaches out to express interest. Thx everyone.
been doing just fine. went up there friday evening. didn't register cause hadn't really planned to go. a friend of mine ended up buying a vert about mid april and asked me when it was. everything was already booked and paid for when it started having problems with the rear brakes locking up so shop couldn't get it done in time so he just drove his truck. found out about the car show thru FB so did a walk thru, saw and talked to tim but other than that i didn't get out much while there.
Glad to hear you're well, sorry we missed you, maybe next year!
I added two new treasures to the stable this weekend, found them just ~5 miles from me. If I can easily register the brown one I think I'm going to focus on it first, it's pretty complete, has a RB exhaust, LSD rear, suspension upgrades, a glass sunroof. The SA is decent too, it has Panasports, some suspension work, and I have most of the interior parts it needs.
