Awesome, you'll love it, it's rotary overload.

Always happy to help a fellow rotor head, don't hesitate to shout!

Maybe, I saw this guy by the screen name Rad Potential who is also building a wannabe FD. That thing is pretty sweet too.

OK, I might need some of y’all’s help. My gas tank has been leaking ever since I bought the car and I’m trying to fix up on a bunch of small stuff before. DGRR so I fixed the main leak which was actually on the tank so I close everything up filled it up with water for every 10 minutes to check for any leaks and I found one on the very bottom right of my fuel level sensor it was coming from underneath where the gasket was so I carefully took off all of the screws luckily mine were all in great condition and pulled the sensor up and I’m guessing its just the rubber gasket that has dry rotted now my only thing is can I get this gasket at a auto parts store or do I have to make my own? I don’t know if this gasket is a universal thing I can buy or is it vehicle specific because the sensor

level does work on my car

  • I ended up making my own gasket. It worked no more leaks, so I sanded and grind it down the tank painted over and put some rust prevention on it and it’s back in the car doing great.

But one thing I would like to know is what alternator police set up. Do y’all use on your first gens i’m still running the stock OEM single sleeve alternator pulley and my belt has broke three times in the past two months months. Most recent time was yesterday. I was driving down in Atlanta with the car and the belt snapped and I was stranded on the side of the highway. They built that had snapped was only a month old. Anytime going like 80 it’s spinning so fast it snaps the belts so I was wondering can I run a dual belt set up or even a serpentine belt set up my car is only street ported I know it’ll take away. Some of my power adding more dragged to the engine, but I’d rather have that than these belt snap I have some photos of y’all‘s engine bases back at our seven day when I saw y’all‘s cars for the first time

See what I mean I need to upgrade the problem

This is what my setup looks like right now with the single belt

You can use just about any duel pulley you want on there. There was a time I was running a duel pulley from a Dodge 318 on my RX7.

Careful putting torque on that belt. Too tight of a belt will wear out your front main bearing in the front stationary gear.
