Last I heard Democrats weren't allowed in South Georgia.
Although the Rotary Exhaust does sound tempting.
Happy wife, Happy life!
Very serious, clearing my back yard out from the pine trees so if more cars showed up I'll have room. I just got to see whos interested. The way I look at it if more than two rotaries show up is a party.
So we missed this year's DGRR due to the current issues, sad!
So how about a mid-August one day, meet and BBQ in SE Georgia! I have space for about 60 cars in my front yard, know an awesome BBQ place that will cater, Chicken, burgers, ribs, pulled pork, beans, etc. bYB. And we get to meet and talk Brrp, Brrp, brrp!
How about it?
How far are you from Nashville? I'm interested and I'm sure some of the local rotary guys would join me.

Shoot the Charleston gang might be down I'll ask... most of those guys are FD's so they don't drive much.
Pick this car up early on the week, Monday actually!
Complete was running about three years ago, got parked and started to deteriorate. I have worked on the car through the years, it belonged to a long time friend. We added a GSL rear en about ten years ago, Replaced the carburetor back and forth about three times and ended up with the original Nikki that I had rebuilt. It needs brakes, the tank clean up, and a few odd parts that I have gotten ahold of thanks to Ray. The seats are different and the driver side definitely needs replacing, as you can see on the pictures. It needs an ignition switch, carpet cleaned up and I am sure other things that will come up as I continue to work on it. I am going to need some wheels as well since my friend wants to keep these ones. L/S, the drain pan full of syrup like gas L/F
I'm thinking some maroon accents in there would look pretty good, like a pair of maroon leather seats?
And an original maroon shift **** to replace that moron shift ****?
I've also got a complete maroon carpet set in great shape that would make the car look totally custom.
Think about it, maroon on gray could look pretty cool!
Also, how 'bout a left front fender if what I'm seeing is a nasty body repair?
I think I even have a silver one, I'll have to check.
I can probably bring the stuff down for your shin dig.
That is, if Trump hasn't totally destroyed the World by then.
I'm serious, the guy is a complete and very dangerous idiot.
AS agreed maroon will be and silver. Will take the fender as well. ANd awesome to have you come down and bring that with you in August. Let's hope that idiot lays down and stopped ruining the nation!
make a REPU out of that B2200. seems i've seen that rx7 posted for sale in the past. was it listed here or a craigslist find?
Got a 13B already on an engine stand for it. Had a deal for a third member out of a Turbo II but the guy backed out at the last minute. Like to get an extended cab for the project since this one has a fresh rebuild in it.
The car has not been listed for sale ever.
I checked on the driver's side fender Carlos, it is indeed silver, just bolt on and go.
Lot's of other 84/85 GSL maroon interior parts too, even a nice pair of leather door panels to go with the seats.
Why not put the 13B in the Silver One and a 12A in the truck?
After all, the Silver One is a sports car. The B2200 is a truck.
Awesome on the fender and burgundy interior stuff! Already have the SE with a 13B, Have not had a 12A for more than 20 years! I had several when I was in Virginia, the 76 RX3SP, an 82 GSL, about 4 84-85 and had my 76 REPU, (out of all the cars I have owned I regret getting rid of the truck and my RX3 SP more than anything).
So for the truck project is going to be 13B with an LSD rear end out of a second, gen, and either a turbo II tranny or an old school, REPU, RX3 or RX4 tranny.
Crawled up in the attic of the garage looking for parts and came across some interesting parts. Not necessarily for the car, well some for this car and other parts for a GSL-SE. Tow complete SE Fuel injection systems, throttle body, manifolds, air cleaner box, well complete. Some headers, I did found some burgundy parts that will complement what I get from Ray. Found a REPU carb and intake sitting up there as well as an old 13B oil pan.
Carlos, the guys are right, scratch the 13B in the Silver One idea.
It's gotta be a 12A in a GSL, the Rotary Gods wouldn't approve anything else.
I think I got a little too much sun today out washing the cars.
Nice finds in the attic!
When you've been driving Wankels for a few decades things accumulate.
Let's get this stuff out of storage and onto the road!
Anybody else want in on the parts exchange?
What'cha got? What'cha need?
Good call on the 12A for the Silver project. Got the internals for a rebuild except for the rotor housings. Will have to tear down this motor eventually and see what it looks like inside. I have a four bridge 12A engine and may end up building that. Also, have a turbo manifold for a 12A that makes me wonder about that route. We will have to see.
Talked with cook last night over a dozen beers and some laughs and agreed on the menu. Bostom butts, ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, and potatoes salad. Various refreshments, water, and sodas. BYOB
Let me know what guys think. Saturday, August 15, 2020.
