Check out the new addition! I got another old IT7 car, this one is complete and still race worthy. Got it in Florida with a TON of extra parts- 3 motors, 5 transmissions, body panels, 16 spare wheels, and more... It was last raced in 2014, hasn't been started since. Gonna try to get it going soon and massage some of the dents out.
I got it running, it needs brake work but otherwise seems solid, sounds amazing. Maybe this video link will work: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Q8GjV1hyBwURohwn8 It did have oil pressure after I tapped on the gauge
I got the red one running last week too, the motor and trans appear to be healthy. I'm going back to the original plan, putting that drivetrain into Frankenrex and making nice a road car. https://photos.app.goo.gl/3DqUaxhR299H6TYv6

Those window covers are the coolest thing I've seen all day.

What a great find and great car! I enjoy reading about restorations of old Mazdas. Well done.
hah! You're kidding! If not, that will be absolutely amazing...
This is no joke. I bought an FD shell from RX7Parts.com. It drops on top the existing tube framing. Just need to trim the front fenders, and buy doors, and a hood from him.
Welp, my first DGRR is in the books. Although we flew from Phoenix to Atlanta and drove up from there, it was an incredible trip and experience. Meeting OGTA members was definitely one of the highlights. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to make contact with Ray Green. That would have been the icing on the cake 🎂.
Group pic from the Saturday night awards ceremony. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
I’ll turn this thread into an old Rx7 big lister/aol chat room for 1 post at least. I see a cym FD on BAT and made me think of David Lieberman’s car that I saw at the 1996 road Atlanta racing right before it turned into petit lemans. That cym was beautiful in the sun. Hope every one is doing well!
