Collin, you must have missed this in Ray's previous post. You do know what he means by "the definitive vehicle of the 20th century", right? 12A powered FB or SA

There's more to it than that Mike. Not only is the FB the definitive vehicle of the 20th Century, my Silver FB is the best FB that was ever made.

Then Re-Speed used those second gens as parts cars for the sub 2500 pound, definitive vehicles.

Ray, I think you may have overshot a little with that comment. Although it is true the FB/SA is the definitive vehicle of the 20th centery, it is an accepted fact that Tender Blue Metallic with gray interior is the high water mark for FB production. That being the case it comes down to mine or Gene's as the best FB ever made. Given that mine is not actually legal to drive yet, I guess Gene gets the nod. But, I have big plans for the March OGTA meet. bwahahaha...

Oh... Now I understand why Mazda introduced the FC - parts cars.

It's also why they added electric seatbelts. Once that fails, it pretty much junks the car on the spot!

FC's are useful 13B donors, this is true.

I saw some of those electric seat belts in operation at the last OGTA meet. They were in this car, which belonged to this guy:

When you opened the door they went up and down like a **** film.

Pretty cool, but not appropriate for a sports car, in my opinion.

Mike, I'm doing some research on the Tender Blue but I'm pretty sure that K13 Silver was the definitive color.

Those remind me of my mom's Ford Escort when I was... 10? haha. If I ever get an FC with those, I'll have manual ones swapped into it in no time.

You know, I've never owned one and I love my color, but Tender Blue always was my favorite...

OK, OK, when we paint the Silver One next summer we'll paint it Tender Blue.

I wanted to switch to Red Line oil for all my cars but couldn't find a supplier for a 5 gallon jug and it's too expensive to buy by the quart. Anybody got any leads?

No leads. But, I have always used Red Line in the tranny and diff in the Gray Ghost. No complaints. I am going to put Royal Purple in the blue one this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

Dudes, check out my new FB. I just won it on ebay for $12 shipped, says it's for ages 15 and up. And it looks like it has some of that Tender Blue in the paint job.

Those of you awaiting your 2010 OGTA calendars, they are being printed (with Mike's help) as we speak (or, more accurately, as we waste time surfing the web). Should be in the mail in the next day or two.

That's cool, congrats. Now you can buy an FC and experience it's glory with your spare change

Speaking of FC's, and with mine not drivable at the moment, I got some progress done on the Maxima last night and this afternoon.

It turned out really good for a rattle can job, I think. I still need to get some good adhesive to glue that emblem and the one on the trunk back on though.

And another good thing, I sold my cousin's Equinox tonight. And I'm going to Valdosta this weekend too for a little vacation... Yeah yeah.

Congrats on your promotion Ray.

I was just thinking about our lunch at the Hunan the other day.
I usually work from home on Fridays, but have out-laws in town.
So when I figure out what I can get away with, I'll let you know.

For anyone considering replacing the gear oil in their transmissions, I wanted to say: Redline is indeed all it's cracked up to be. It's great stuff! Going from Coastal to Redline was like having a broke *** transmission and..well...making it better again! lol

Chris, how is that SS Braided Clutch line working out for you?

Ray, congrats on the promotion. I was wrong and my mom did send in the deposit thing for Mercer, just in case something major happens and we can't move back to Vermont.. So... she's intending to go to Vermont but has Mercer as a backup. I'm sure you're hoping something major happens and we end up staying and she goes to Mercer so that I don't have to leave the club. LOL

They increased my Pelle Grant after finally processing the form we filled out initially showing how much my dad really made last year.. So.. Not sure what I'll do with it yet. Maybe pour more money into Wanda?
