Back when GM had some interesting ideas:

Here's the article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/10/au...ORTZ.html?8dpc

They were actually going to put a rotary engine in one of the early Corvettes. Oh what might have been.

You know the AMC Pacer was designed to run a rotary engine right Ray? Interesting thought

Let's play a round of "Name that Quote".

Who said this:

"im at that stage in my life when im trying to decide what to do. this year college will accompany my full time job at Caterpiller. ill be going for CNC and other machinng classes. i wish i could get into a job that has to do with rx7s, preferrably something with road course racing, but anything with rx7s would be great. if anyone has any advice please pm me!! i want to get my life on track."

Winner gets some corks for the dizzy cap that you need after the 2GDFI.

Yup it's Mr. Wankel in one of his more philosophical moods. Not bad for a new guy, prize to be awarded at the OSJC meeting at Fort Yargo on August 16th.

You young guys scare me, you could probably get access to my bank account if you wanted to.

Best chance around here to pick up an axle is by getting to know some OG@TA's, they usually have pretty good connections. But if you can't make it to the August 16th OSJC get together pm me a mailing address and I'll send your prize.

Sounds like you are one of us Michael, you even have the right name - Mike is by far the most common name you'll find at an OG@TA meeting (Greg and Chris come next).

In fact, with the SE you might even get Crit interested, he's been feeling kind of lonely lately.

Nah, there's no secret to getting the SE to idle. If nothing else, a flathead screwdriver can likely fix it at the Sept. OGTA meet.

Hey rotorheads,

Check out the Blue Ridge Rotary Run that will be held on October 25th and 26th here:
https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/oct-25-26th-b3r-778536/

A few spaces are left for the group campsite. This will be a nice fall run on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Holly
