Old guys with 12As club meeting

Well for me, I changed the oil, put on my new rotor oil cap and air freshener, re-wired the subs, replaced the thermostat and a heater hose, fixed the fuel leak mentioned earlier, and put on a nasty black steel, na hood. In 2 weeks

I should hopefully be at the meet tomorrow too

Thanks Crit, I'm not sure it's even called a kick panel. It's the plastic panel, about two feet wide and 1 foot deep, that goes over the passenger side floor below the dash compartment. It has a little vent in the middle, as I recall. I broke some of the mounting pins on the one in my silver car when I removed it awhile back. Also I'd like to give one of those little headlight flickers a try.
Anybody else need anything? I've got a fuel pump for Greg the Younger and for Chris a rear wiper arm and blade, a rear window washer nozzle and a power window motor, if the unit is the same for both passenger side and driver side (I have the passenger side, he needs the driver's side).
DarkDrakeX, a new guy from Atlanta, said he is planning to come.
Hey Crit you are only one post away from 2000!
PS, Alan, the guy with the beautiful black-on-black GTU says he's coming and will bring a 45 minute movie of Zoomfest on CD. I will bring the lap top and some spare CDs to make copies, maybe somebody knows how to get this up on the picture post?
Also since Kim is going to be there I wouldn't be surprised if Chad pops down from Tennessee.

Ray, I packed everything last night before seeing your post, so I don't have the passenger's knee bolster. I'm close enough that I'll swing by the house and pick it up this afternoon.
Number 2000, coming up!
Number 2000, coming up!
Congrats on number 2000 Crit!
Don't worry about the panel if it's any trouble (just don't forget and throw it out) it's for the Silver One, which is still a few months away (going to be a fall project, when the weather gets a little cooler).
My windshield trim came out pretty good, if I do say so myself. I'll bring the camera, looks like an interesting evening.

Probably but we'd need to come prepared. Need masking tape and newspapers (lots), some fine steel wool and isopropyl to prepare the surface and some spray paint. If you can pull these together let me know, I'll meet you at 6:00 and we can knock it off.
Greg, fuel pump delivered.
Looking good Tim, real good. You've even got the tires going on.

Gotta love that Old School look and mystique. Andy will be jealous:

Brett, you need to be drivin' this, it's got a great paint job and you gotta love that roof line:

I'm working on the August 5th 2008 OG@TA Birthday meeting photos, it was a great turn out. For now, here is my 12A equivalents count:
2 SA's = 3
4 FB's = 4
1 SE = 1
4 FC's = 2
Total = 10 12A equivalents, only one short of the December 8, 2007 record of 11.
If only Gene, Cory, Greg the Elder, Mike S or Chris had showed up we could have set a new record, on a Tuesday evening no less!

So tonight was pretty fun. I'm glad I finally got to see you guys again. Hopefully I can make it to the old school shin-dig if that's not the weekend I finish my community service. What day was it again? And Ray and Holly, you guys are a 'hoot'
I know, the paint's new, it just has a few runs. Once it's payed off and the huge cell phone bills are out of the way, I just may

August 16th Brett (my birthday), you don't need to get me something if you don't want to.

Ray, thanks for the compliments on the tires. They really look cool in person. I just have to get that racquetball outfit together to complete the whole 80s look from the brochures you posted awhile back.
Great job on the trim, it looks great!
How about describing what you did? Did you pull it off or mask it while on the car? What paint did you use? What prep? etc. I want to do the same to my trim as its showing some shiny spots. Maybe a thread up in the 1st gen section?
Looks like the meet went really well. I wish I could make it down there more often. Our last meet was a little weak but we have some newer members showing up so thats good. I'm off to the Raleigh cookout Satruday and then our meet on Sunday. Gotta show off the shoes and my newly done ipod integration.
