Still had me nauseous the last day sitting at 7k. I thought I was just giving the car away.

Any rate, when my savings account hits 4k I dump it on the FB (I might go way over budget but the 4k is the starting point). Till then I am gonna put the insurance back on it and DRIVE. Might even go up and see you guys at deals gap this year IDK.

Ghia's are pretty, 7's are prettier.

So James, with all that money in the bank, are you ready to retire?

If so, come on up to DGRR this year, we're having a Retirement Party.

Haha far from retirement I'm just reving up to the powerband.

Haven't really made a decision on coming up for DGRR. Pretty sure the 7 is good to go. IDK if its because the 7's been sitting or what but its getting hard to shift. I might go up in the expensive VW and only for a couple of days. I had a diving trip planed for a week after DGRR so it'd be weird to take too much vacation all at once.

Heck yeah! Glad to see it jump in the end. Did anyone come one an look at the car in person, or were all the bids based solely off the photos/ad? I've always wondered that with BAT.

Totally sight unseen.

I got nothing to hide, but I don't know what less than scrupulous sellers will experience. They might have some kind of lemon policy.

Its been blown through.

I am just tired of the S4 turbo. I want to try a ball bearing turbo. Same boost levels I run now, but on a ball bearing turbo.

I think I'm just gonna stick with the S4 turbo for a while; maybe a year. I wanna do a real nice build this time. Not a mid 20's guy build like last time, but a more mature almost 40 year old guy build.

I heard that Felix Wankel's grandson is going to be at the OGTA Meeting tomorrow night.

Can anybody confirm the rumor?

Holly?

The March 1, 2022 OGTA Meeting was a good one.

A new 12A count record was set, 253 12A Equivalents!

The Wankels weren't great in number, but each had a story to tell.

Mike's Baby Blue 85 GSL, 76 12A Equivalents:

Brett's White Rocket, 56 12A Equivalents:

Collin's FE, lots of sparkle, 32 12A Equivalents:

Ray's 83 LE, 53 12A Equivalents, with Robert's TW12A, 36 12A Equivalents (89 12A Equivalents total):

Only a sign of what's to come.

The Ghost of Saint Felix will appear Saturday morning, April 30, 2022 at Deal's Gap.

Mike Malone might be there too.

Plus storied rotaries galore. Hope to see you guys there.

Oh man, just talked to a guy real quick who had an rhd fd faded black in Roswell.

Got me all hyped since I hadn't seen an fd out here in over a year and mines still in the shop. 😭
