Who knows, maybe they know of some good spots to hang out for a weekend at. Besides Crits lakehouse... which was a blast and a half

 

Well there is the Lake House. How about a fall meeting at the Lake House? Early enough for a little swimming?

 

I don't think we should ask of that to many times with the same person.

 

Maybe for a September meet?

I want to make a run down there for a meet, but would have to be a weekend thing. GA is a little far to go for a Tuesday night meet. I don't care what we do. A BBQ and maybe a drive would be nice. Could be at the lake house, a state park or ???

 

The lakehouse isn't difficult to do, but it's much better-suited to a weekend. The setup and cleanup take longer than you'd think, and it would make a Tuesday get-together a really stressful day. Maybe we can do it again on a weekend before it gets too cool, but certainly not for a normal OGTA evening.

Brett and Collin, I appreciate the offer, but now I've got a fully stocked truck, and it's easy enough that it doesn't warrant the drive that you guys have ahead of you. Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm cool.

Hey guys,any body have a extra 1st gen transmission laying around? Im about to pick up an 85 gs for basically free but its an AUTOMATIC!!!!!! Ill need to do a manual swap right away, then I can join you guys without hanging my head in shame!! LOL!!

 

I've got a 12A S3 tranny that needs nothing but a shifter. And, I'm pretty darn close.

 

And I have the pedal box you are going to need. Maybe even a master cylinder. You will need a flywheel for the motor - I do not have that.

You just missed the big weekend meet in ATL. ZoomFest at Road Atlanta this past weekend.

I'm sure we will get another weekend meet soon. Maybe another drive up in the mountains.
