Good news folks. The White One was spitting up blood for the last few days, my precious MPG's taking a nose dive. But Crit and Deena were out at the house on Friday and Crit took a look down the White One's throat and diagnosed an infected progression circuit, kind of like swollen tonsils in a Nikki.

So me not wanting to rebuild the carb in this weather stopped at the AutoZone on the way home an purchased a spray can of their prescription only carb cleaner, which I used to coat the White One's poor swollen tonsils, nearly gagged the poor girl.

And it worked! Progression is just fine, I'll be there tomorrow evening after all (after voting).

I'll be there! In Grace, though. I don't know if I can trust Sabine to stay startable. Unless someone is willing to possibly loan me a battery in case she floods while at the meet to the point where it nearly kills my battery trying to start her.

 

I thought about giving you the battery in the 'vert to use, but if I get another car soon I'll need a new battery. But it sitting in the car not being used isn't doing any good to it- you can borrow it until I get another car or need it back, or until you buy another one yourself But you're *** has to come and get it!

Let's try to line them up tonight like we did in that photo up above, FBs in one line, FCs and other stuff (lotuses, FDs, etc) in another. Makes counting and photography easier.

I forgot to mention, let's shoot for a little earlier starting time, say around 6:00-6:30 instead of 6:30-7:00 so we can get some more day light.

It's been a good week for decongesting Nikkis. I tracked down a couple of vacuum leaks that were the cause of coughing in my car and then tunned the carb. The old guy (mines a guy) is running much leanner and smoother. I think it could use a little more work, but it is noticeably stronger and smoother. It also seems to have addressed a fuel starvation problem I was having.

I wish I could of made it tonight, but the Philadelphia Flyers hockey game was on TV and I never miss my Flyers. But, Ray, you better not give away my gift!! If you dont want it give it back! 75-80? He passed at a good 10mph faster maybe more, and the exhaust note makes me think he had a fairly open throttle.
