Phil's dad Charles is super cool for sure.

And the amazing thing is he still looks the same 35 years later:

Phil I was planning on taking the LE up to DGRR but I figure I'd be so busy tossing Republicans off the porch I wouldn't have time for the rotaries.

Those Republicans are like zombies, mindless undead feeding off human flesh, destroying all that is good and decent.

Take Trump's White House for example.

Left to right: Bannon, Prebus, Kushner, Melania and Pence out for a stroll in the DC swamp (Trump's in the background, coward that he is):

Those rims were a perfect choice. You just don't see that style at all if ever on a 7. Really stands out!

Well after a long hiatus, I am daring to poke my nose under the OGTA tent.

Look forward to seeing some of you guys at DGRR. The car is running and clean, but not much work other than that. My tools are still in storage, but I hope to solve that problem on 4/17 when I close on a new house.

Good luck on the house Mike. I hope it has a decent garage space.

Ray, hows that LE coming along? Last I saw it the engine was suspended over it from a tree. The engine
bay looked real perty tho. I can see you have been scrubbin and paintin a lot lately. I have a new version
of the cyser to share with you at DGRR if you come. Its got a wonderful flavor twist from aging it with
oak.

Ray, if the current LE can't make it, why not get this one? He's asking a reasonable price
if its in as good a shape as the ad says:

that really is s nice one, so it seems. I think ray's is the same color too. But not near as shiny. And, the engine isn't suspended in mid air either.

It's looking like rain on the ten day forecast for Asheville NC on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Ugh. Mine hasn't been in any real rain in at least 11 years..nothing more than hand car washing. Undercarriage has been dry all this time! Plus the tires in rain are just plain dangerous. Going to have to suck it up and say "what the hell!" I'm not missing this event another year!! im praying for dry conditions!!! I need a minor miracle.

Actually Thur and Friday look really nice but can't see Sat and Sun yet in my weather app.
I think the weather will be excellent so far. BTW, it always rain s sometime in the mtns.

I look at the Cherokee weather to get close to the mtns.

Don't trust the forecast for the mountains. It changes so quickly that they can't forecast it accurately. If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, or drive 5 miles. It will change, one way or the other.

Ray, He's not the first and he won't be the last.

Ray is alive! He lives!

Tells about the LE Ray, we need details.

Also, don't forget that at DGRR I'll have some cider waiting for you.

Tim and Tommy speak Great Truths, I am alive and there are lots of Christians out there.

Indeed, Christians or similar religious sects have been around since neolithic times, organizing great masses of humanity into homogeneous hoards that have been used throughout history to massacre non-believers, whomever they might be.

That's why we need the Rotary Gods. To lead mankind out of the Darkness.

The LE is doing fine Tim and it doesn't require prayers, just love and greasy fingernails.

I'll try to get some pics posted in the next day or so.

hardly a bible thumper. But, prayers do work!! Don't worry guys and gals.. I'm one of those Catholic boys that rarely goes to church anymore. Not intending to offend the Rotary gods at all. Just another beer drinking, rock and rolling, cigarette smoking rotard like the rest of you. Putting a coat of fresh wax on my 7 for the trip. Fresh oil and a tank of gas with a clean windshield!! My sciatica is back which will be interesting to see how I sit the distance to DGRR. Celebrating my 61st birthday that Saturday, the day of the show. I'll be the one with the black t-shirt that says "Tool and die guy" on it. Cindy will be wearing one that says "Tool and die guy's fiancé " on it. We arrive around 1ish. We'll be looking for you.

That's good news Paul, there is redemption in your future.

Neolithic Rotary Gods:

They were making good progress until a Priest terminated the project.

I believe he was Catholic.

Hola

Changing disk rotors, pads, flushing brake lines, and a fresh tune up in preparation for next week's trip. Will put a coat of some green stuff on it too, and see if it shines!

Getting ready for DGRR. Used a new turtle wax detailing "black only" on mine. I'm pretty impressed. Did an A/B on the hood at first. Wow..! Noticeably blacker side by side.

It's called Jet Black by turtle wax. That's 32 year old paint. Car was born around this same week in 85.. Hiroshima paint! If you have a black vehicle I recommend this stuff.
