GA 83 Limited Edition For Sale

I am selling my 83 Limited Edition Rx-7. Unfortunately, due to job demands I am unable to enjoy the car, so she must go. I have owned the car for several years since buying it back from a friend who purchased it from me in the late 80's. I originally owned this car in 1985, so I know the history on it. You can see details here: https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...imited-983706/ . The car has sat inside my shop for several years now, and although she will crank and run, and the 12A is fine, the carburetor will need to be gone thru again to get her into driving condition and she will probably need a battery. Beyond that, she needs nothing. The paint is immaculate without a scratch on it, and has never been rained on. The interior is redone as close to original as was possible, with parts of the original 83 Mazda seat covers being reused when the seats were redone. She is put back stock, with the stock RX-7 Clarion stereo with EQ and joystick balancer that came from the factory in 1983. Additions include an original period front and rear spoiler, installed on the car in 1985. I also have many extra parts, including extra interior pieces, and extra set of LE wheels, painted but not installed rocker panel skirts, and aluminum rear louvers that are noit installed. I am asking $4200 for this car. With a carb kit installed, she will be ready to hit the road. Located in Griffin, GA. My phone number is 770-238-2022 and my email address is red350ss@aol.com.

nice

Car looks awesome. I have had two LE and this one looks better than any I've ever seen. I have some money for it, but trying to get of a couple of cars, to include and RX8. If you do not sell here in the next couple of weeks hook me up. I may just take it off your hands!

Update: 6/28/17 I have rebuilt the carb, ended up with the dreaded vacuum leak, so she won't idle worth a flip but will crank and run so you can see the motor is fine. I am also dropping the price, as I need the space in my garage more than I need the car. The new price is $3500. Dont miss this one. Simple fix for someone with the time to finish and tweak the carb and you have a car that is immaculate. Cosmetically she looks like new (or better), mechanically is very very minor to complete. Dont see many LE cars in this shape, if ever. Garage kept 100% of the time for the last 6+ years. All extra parts are still included, extra LE wheels, sideskirts (painted), misc interior pieces, extra sunroof, and a whole pile of other parts....need it all gone. Location is Griffin, GA

You may want to list this on Bring-a-Trailer. That will give you wider exposure and might improve the selling price. An 82 GSL sold for $4300 last month.

Did you sell the car? I am new to the forum. Would you be interested in selling the 2nd set of wheels. Thanks,
