Rota Makes SSR Mesh in 4x110?

I have never come across this until I noticed an ebay ad selling a set of new 15x7's in 4x110.

Sure enough I check out Rotas website and see that the offer the wheel in 15x7 4x110 in FB offsets.

Is this legit? I am surprised I have not seen a single FB running this setup.

OS Mesh - ROTA Wheels

The fact that these can be sourced locally and is way better than overpaying for an original set of 4x110 wheels outweighs the whole Rota knockoff thing...

Sweet, I say get a set if you want em. Alot of people will give crap for knockoffs but I was never a fan of paying more for wheels or seats than what the whole car might have cost in the first place lol.

Yeah those just showed up on the radar for me the other day. I was looking for 15 to
supplement my waffles. These meshies and the Konig Rewind mini-lite knockoffs are the 2
real choices for new wheels.

Amazon has em too!

Amazon.com: ROTA OS MESH WHEELS 15X7 PCD:4X110 OFFSET:20 HB:73 SILVER WITH POLISH LIP: Automotive Amazon.com: ROTA OS MESH WHEELS 15X7 PCD:4X110 OFFSET:20 HB:73 SILVER WITH POLISH LIP: Automotive

Along with the ebay ones:

Rota Wheel OS Mesh 15x7 4x110 RS Mazda RX2 RX3 RX4 RX7 | eBay

Both at about the same price for 4 of em, $675.

Some of the 15s don't have friendly offsets for us. I think we need +20 or so right?

Nice wheels! Might need spacers with pos 20 offset, not sure! My old 92s
are 15x7 plus 7 and they fit great.

Man, those Rota's look nice for the money! It would be really nice knowing that you're receiving new wheels instead of someone else's old ones with small bends and curbage.

So I called a local shop that carries a lot of wheels. Seems like quite a long wait to get a set of Rotas in FB fitment... 6 months...

But I never called any other places to see what they say.

None the less they are available online for reasonable cost.

I have done a bit of reading and it sounds like 15x7 +20 will fit quite well, maybe just need a small spacer like 8 mm or so to make it perfect.

15X7 looks like a very common FB size so tons of good info and pics out there.

Would extended studs (thread in) with a small spacer (8 to 12mm) be reasonable? Then it's a matter of finding lug nuts with the proper thread and seat type. And of course coilovers.....

I ordered a set from Amazon, only one set left! UPS managed to get them from California to Canada in 24hours.

Looks like I will need 12x1.5mm thread in studs, lug nuts, and maybe a set of spacers.

Pics to follow. Going with Yoko. S Drives in 195/50-15 and 205/50-15 front and rear. Unsure on spacers, I think I will get them mounted and see.

Holy ****! Now thats entertaining. And the call em Campagnolo Specials for gods sake. Plus they are selling them for $902.00.

1. Buy waffles cheap
2. Fill and drill for Fiat bolt pattern
3. Sell online
4. Profit

BTW, I'm still interested in those 15" waffles you mentioned. Any more from Rota on that project?

Cool deal, excited to see them when you get them. What color center did you order?

All they had was the silver centers with polished lips. I may decide to mask and paint just the centers a bronze or or gold. I'll post pics here.

Should be arriving soon. I will run them on my stock suspension until I get a coilover setup organized. Most likely Stance coils.

I am also lookin for more info on using extended studs with spacers (not adapters). I will probably get 12mm spacers to end up at +8mm offset. I found a place that will make 4x110 spacers in our hub diameter for $60 a pair. I think I will need them anyway so that the fronts clear the coilovers.

Sure, just PM me the details you need and I'll make some time to do the measurements.
So these may be for reals? I'll hold off getting any 15" wheels and see what comes about
then.

Rota Makes SSR Mesh in 4x110?

15x7 +20 works great no need for spacers unless you want it to look more agressive. stock suspension.

Looks good! I have seen that pic before, part of what helped me decide on 15x7+20. I may need a spacer in the front for coilover clearance... to be determined.

The wheels arrived here are some pics. Very fast shipping from 18Racing (Via Amazon) with good service.

Wheels look excellent. Tires come in next week so I will be posting more pics once they are mounted.

I was worried about what lug bolts I would use (my cars wheels from the previous owner use an odd type of bolt with washers...). My buddy has a spare set of BMW lugs that will work perfectly. 12x1.5mm thread and a cone seat.

I ordered a set of plastic hub centric rings from ebay. Required 73mm to 59.6mm. Should work out well.

Ok, finally got them mounted up! I went with 195 and 205 50 Yoko Sdrives.

Rota Makes SSR Mesh in 4x110?-oeqxp2yl.jpg

I have Stance coils that I am getting the rest of the remaining parts for, so no fear, the car will be lowered! Probably lower it 2" from where it is now it should look excellent.

I love the look of these wheels really makes my FB stand out.
