Its in the infield by turns 4 & 5. I try to get the spot under the big tree nearest to the track there
but if that fails theres lots of room behind it as well. We'll all go there after the breakfast.

First Tuesday of the month already. Who is going to make it out to Twisted Tavern tonight? I don't think Ray will make it, since he showed up at the Mitty on Saturday. Ray, I think Jeremy has your chairs and cooler that you left at Road Atlanta.

I'll be there, as usual, but without the camera this time (forgot it at home) so someone else (Holly?) is responsible for the pics.

Thanks Jeremy for taking care of that stuff for me!

See y'all there.

5-1-12 12A count

1 Old School = 2 12A's (Jeremy)
3 FB's = 3 12A's (Ryan, Ray, Greg (the younger))
1 FC = .75 12A's (Kristy)
1 FD = .333 12A's (Rodney)
3 FE's - .375 12A's (Tommy, Holly, Max)

6 Boingers = 0 12A's (Crit, Collin, Billy, Gene, Michelle, Lee)

Total 12A count = 6.458

This being 2012 and our 12A rating system is now 5 years old, I would like to propose some new 12A Equivalence Guidelines:

Properly Carbed FBs = 1.0 12A
SEs = 1.0 12A (experimental 12A)
SAs = 1.5 12As
Old Schools = 2.0 12As
Fuel Injected Rotaries = 0.5 12As
Boingers = 0.1 12As

We can add 0.25 12A Bonus Points for special examples, as we have for the PrePro.

I'd also nominate Robert's car for this honor and any other SA that crosses state lines to get to an OGTA meeting.

Maybe even some REPUs would qualify if they ever showed up.

This would simplify the math and reward the Wankel Wannabe's for at least showing up.

Whadaya Think?

Sure, why not. I'll second the motion. But, everyone just got used to the points system, so Ray, you will be responsible for the count each month.

Whats "properly carbed" mean? Or should this read "Ray approved carbed FBs = 1.0 12A"?

I'm just glad my 7 isn't an FB. Mike watchout, the carb police are on to you.

"Properly carbed" is just a reference system: Nikki>Weber>Holly>Del Horto, the standard system we've worked out over the years.

OK, it's official, we now have a new 12A Equivalence System:

Properly Carbed FBs = 1.0 12A
SEs = 1.0 12A (experimental 12A)
SAs = 1.5 12As
Old Schools = 2.0 12As
Fuel Injected Rotaries = 0.5 12As
Boingers = 0.1 12As

0.25 12A Bonus Points for special examples (eg, the PrePro, Robert's White Wonder, Michael's Old School FB, etc.)

Webers are good, but Nikkis are better.

How 'bout we try this:

Nikki>Weber>Del Horto>Holley

Ugh. What not to do to your FB. Everything is wrong with it. Really wrong.

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/2999101957.html

That one would be -2.0 12A's for sure. Only good news is that it would have to park with the boingers if it showed up at an OGTA meeting.

Where you bin Brett?

I'm going to try to get out to the next meet, DGRR drained my rotary wallet. Thankfully, driving my new bike is saving me $0.135 every mile, so I should see you old folks on June 5th

Speaking of police encounters, I never got to mention the ticket I got after running the Tail of the Dragon with Holly... Crazy woman is hard to keep up with
