Did I do this right, old guys?

Ray, you missed out. I have been fiddling around with that box of Nikki parts and I debuted my new carb set up. Hopefully someone can put up some pictures for the delinquent members.

Excellent, Excellent Job on the 12A count posting, Brett. And good job to Kristy for keeping track of everyone.
The only addition was that Mr. Mazmart (Paul Thomas) rolled in just after 10pm, in his piston powered Protege. Only a few of us left to greet him, Ryan, Jeremy, Kristy & Holly. Thanks for making an appearance Paul. Next time, I hope you can make it a little earlier.
Ray, I was starting to think why do we need you to show up... we have people to take pics, do the 12A count, etc., but then I realized, no one rushes home and puts up the pics as fast as you. Hopefully you'll see that you are the only one to get the job done and get your butt out to the meeting each month.
We missed you Ray.

15-16 mpg around town - aggressive driving
17 mpg around town - going easy, granny shifts
21 mpg @ 80 mph
23 mpg @ 65 mph
I think if I add an efan I might get a couple more mpg on the highway.
Not bad for 2 ton truck.

Sorry Mike my camera let me down[ to dark to see] i guess Ray will have to actually make a meet to see your new improved nikki mod . One of my favorite mods
I dunno Mike, I kind of hate to waste the film when just one FB shows up. Pretty as the Blue One is, with her new fuel delivery system (or is Sweet Blue a he?).
And all those boingers. I just don't know what to think about all those boingers. I hear Collin got a Datsun. What Next???
It's like Romney running for President. I just can't get my mind around it.
I hope they got some good shots of those SA's.

Film, what's film? Kodak filed chapter 11. Don't worry about using the bits. You can use those over and over.
You know, Ray, there is an easy way to fix that FB count. We just need people who drive FBs to show up at the meeting. May not have had a high 12A count, but there were some nice cars there. Even the boingers were nice.

Went to the Charlotte Cars and Coffee this morning. I'll be going back for it on a regular basis
now. It was a good time, although I was the lone RX there until a Blue Montego FD showed
up near the end. I may drag him down with me to an OGTA, his name is Adam. And no, I
didn't get a picture of his car <damn>.

If you guys keep posting boinger pics on this thread I'm going to get a serious urge to break down the 12A cores and get to work on a new 12A.
I mean seriously. What is this world coming to?
Zach, you got the photos from the 02-07-12 OGTA? I wanna see those SA's and RX2's. Real cars, not survivors of the Prince of Darkness.
Tim, I got window parts. What you need? Love to see that silver one down the road, let's get it fixed so you can cruise on over to Suwanee.

March meet is a long way out, but I am planning to be there.
Great News Guys
We got Michelle's test results back and the chemo was 100% effective. We still have a ways to go, but these results are the best that could be hoped for at this point. Next week we start looking for a bone marrow donor. She'll be in the hospital for a couple more weeks recovering.
On a side note, the new carb setup did 100 miles of street use yesterday and ran great. Maybe Ray will be at the March meet and actually see what I did with that box of Nikki parts.

That's Great News Mike! We need to get Michelle home soon before you totally dismantle the Blue One and forget how to put him or her back together.
Tim this one kind of looks like an FB. The lines aren't quite as sweet and it has way too many perforations in the sheet metal, but at least it's proportions are right. Has he transplanted a 12A into it yet?
Tim, if you're there, I'm there. See you in March.

Ray, something is wrong in the motor assembly. Voltage drops when you hit the switch, so it's trying to power something. I wouldn't mind switching to manual even though .
Mike S. went down that road, he wanted to put crank windows in the Blue One, I guess because he figured they would work better if the car ever got submerged in a lake.
Turns out to be much more work than you'd expect, he gave up and kept it electric.
I may have a motor, if you could post a pic or part number I can search the shed.

The problem I ran into with the power windows was that not all first gens came pre-wired for power windows. I was going to swap the crank windows into the Blue One. But, the Gray One did not have the wiring for power windows. So I stopped there. I really don't know how doable it is to swap crank windows into a power window car. I assume it is straight forward if you have the door panel, etc.
