too many projects right now.
Good news!!
1) I am still alive. I've been busy with work stuff for the last (long) while. I have been lurking around the forum occasionally.
2) My 7 has recently been awoken.
3) I may actually attend the Feb. meeting, as I'll be on that side of the ATL. Sadly, I miss you crazy rotorheads.
I'm still having carb troubles, running WAY too rich. Still studying up on carb tuning, but no real adjustability has been noted. It ran for about an hour in the driveway this past Sunday. Motor still sounds great, but smells funny.

She's not quite driveable yet, but I'm planning to fidget with her this weekend. There's always hope. I've been driving my Dad's RX-8 this week, and that's really encouraged me to get mine running. That Renesis is no joke. I love it, but miss the classic sound of a 12A.

Hey guys. I have been tied up with family matters. I won't bore you with the details, but Michelle is in the hospital receiving chemo treatments. This is a good thing. Unfortunately, she may be in for a month or more.
I am planning to make it out to the Feb meet. Looking forward to sniffing some nice rich 7 fumes. Sounds like Andy has just the car for the job.
Greg is buying a motor, Gene is buying intake, sounds like some projects going on. And then there is Ray... Sounds like he is throwing all his support behind Mitt. Just when he was when we was winning me over too.

Mitt MONEY, he's my man. If he gets elected I get richer and we'll keep getting these warm winters for the next 10-20 years. Sounds good to me.
I'll be washing the Silver One and bringing the camera next Tuesday. See y'all at Jefferies!

Is anyone here not busy / working on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, and want to ride shotgun for a REPU trip? She's ready to come home, but everything goes so much easier with a second pair of hands.

Ray, you are born teacher. You have not heard from the SPCA, have you?
Crit, I wish I could go. But no time for road trips right now. Can't wait to see it.
So who all is planning to make the OGTA meet tomorrow? I'm down.

Mike and you OGTA's, I can't make the Feb OGTA tomorrow night.
This week is Darwin Week at UGA and tomorrow afternoon Wallace Marshall is giving a talk called "How to Design a Cell". I think his talk will give me some really cool ideas for my White One project so I gotta go.
I was over at UGA today for the first day of Darwin Week to see a talk by paleontologist Jack Horner called "How to Make a Dinosaur".
You know Jack Horner right? The guy who helped Steven Spielberg decide what a dinosaur should look like and which actors the dinosaurs should eat in the movie Jurassic Park?
Turns out Professor Horner's secret is to start out with a chicken. I took some notes.
Cathy and I are going to work on this year's spring chicks to see if we can get some chickenosaurs, all you need to do is enhance the genes for a tail, forearms and teeth.
We should have a batch of chickenosaurs by July if all goes according to plan.

Ray, is this Darwin week where they hand out the Darwin awards each year?
I hear you can't win unless you died in the process.
This is more important than an OGTA meet? Really? I guess I better show since you won't be there.

Tonight I'll be on my way to Saudi Arabia to work on cleaning up the mess from the first gulf war. I amazed any of it is still there. Will miss the March meeting also. I'll keep my eye open for 7s.
Ray, enjoy the egg-head gatherings.

Ray, why stop with the chickens? You should work with the goats, the gold fish, the horse, the dogs, etc. Imagine the possibilities. You could end with with a first gen.
You better make it to the meet tonight. I had to get a hall pass from Michelle. She is in the hospital and I had to get special permission to leave the hospital early tonight to go to the OGTA meet. I'm sure the genetic engineering guys will let you leave a little early for the OGTA meet.

Sorry Mike, since I stayed home from school today the Cathyosaurus wouldn't give me a hall pass so I can't go out tonight. You guys have fun!

Now just who is going to take pics. Ray you promised in an earlier post that you would be there taking pics, you cannot back out at the last moment.
