I won't be able to make it on the 7th, as I've a wedding to attend that afternoon.

Looks like I'll be out of town for the Le Mans weekend also. I will however have access to a HDTV.

I guess the Mazda thing @ RA will have to be my next event.

Hey Crit can we implement the out-of-staters eat for free rule? Seems fair with the price of gas and all that traveling they'll need to do.

Were gonna' miss you Donny and Andy!

Holly I'm working on the GSLs like I'm always working on the GSLs. Being girls, there's no way of telling how they will feel next weekend, I might be out on 85 with my thumb out. So a caravan sounds like a good idea!

Out of staters definitely eat free. We also have room to sleep 6-8 at the house, so folks are welcome to stay the night. I considered it earlier, but wasn't sure anyone would want to stay. We can party through the night or just stay up goofing off for a while.

I'll also ask that folks that are lurking to please speak up so we can get the headcount right.

well if that's the case, that'll definately make things easier for me. thanx guys. it's coming up on a yr since the wife left. she screwed me over on what we agreed on about the tax refund she would be getting with us filing seperatly but at least she did pay what i ended up owing. so changing my dependants at work has really put a strain on me money wise now that more taxes is being taken out.

I'm still bring down some limited amounts of my homebrewed beer just for kicks. Its a weissboch style beer if your a beer hound at all. For the rest of ya its a dark, sweet wheat brew thats excellent cold. Last batch was a high gravity (7-9% alc) but this batch is toned down a bit and is around 4-5 %alc. like most beers.

Micheal keep me posted on your status. All you need now is time and gas money.

Don't forget I have a caravan thread up to coordinate us coming down. If any one along the way from NC/SC wants to meet up as we go down, jump in that thread and let me know.

Yeah Michael, let us know how we can help out. Need any parts?

A couple of organizational matters:

First I get at least one of Tim's beers.

Second sounds like Greg volunteered to bring the burgers.

Third Mike S. will be picking Honey-Do's with the wife on Saturday and can't make it to the Lake Fest so we are going to have a clandestine OG@TA meeting Thursday night, June 5th at Jefferies at the usual 7:00 pm time slot for those locals who can't get out Saturday or have never ventured as far as Lake Hartwell.

Fourth, hmmm, forgot what fourth was.....

Oh yeah, we've got to organize the Atlanta caravan, if such a thing is possible.

Good idea on the out-of-state rotorheads eating for free. I was going to suggest that and one of the reasons, I am willing to bring so much food. I will pick up some hot dog buns for the dogs and brauts too. Also I will get ice in my big cooler.

Ray - Sea Foam and Red Dogs and maybe some GSLs (and a burger for Holly)
Crit and Dena - Fuel for the boat and grill, brats, whatever falls through the cracks
Holly - baked beans, cole slaw, Nathan's hot dogs, buns, chocolate cake, ice
Stu - drinks and utensils
Tim - homebrew (one bottle with Ray's name on it)
Dave and Elizabeth - 7layer dip, paper plates
Billy - hamburger buns, mustard, ketchup
Greg - hamburgers
Michael - out-of-stater

Stu, Dave & Elizabeth, you guys are also out-of-staters, we can remove what you are bringing, unless you are set to bring it.

Ray, do I have it right so far?

i'll do that. i've budgeted my self a certain amount of money to do me in gas between paychecks(every other week). the last meet at rays didn't eat into it too bad even with all the turn-arounds. so i look for this to be about the same since it's not as far. still being needed to choufer(sp) kids around every now and then is the only issue.

I’m going to try to make it this Saturday, but nothing is certain with my mother living here now. I’ve got another meeting Saturday morning so I will be getting a late start. Hope to arrive at about 1:00pm. Any suggestions as to what I might bring?

Ray - Sea Foam and Red Dogs and maybe some GSLs (and a burger for Holly)
Crit and Dena - Fuel for the boat and grill, brats and rolls, whatever falls through the cracks
Holly - baked beans, cole slaw, Nathan's hot dogs, buns, chocolate cake, ice
Stu - drinks and utensils
Tim - homebrew (one bottle with Ray's name on it)
Dave and Elizabeth - 7layer dip, paper plates
Billy - hamburger buns, mustard, ketchup
Greg - hamburgers
Michael - out-of-stater
Marshall and guest (Crit's Brother)
Tim 2 (no Elises allowed) likely
Rob and fiance (jet ski)

If Dave and Elizabeth don't want to play their OOS card and are still up for bringing dip, can you guys also bring chips?

Any idea how many folks would like to stay the night? It's no problem, but it means that we're now looking for dinner, and maybe a little breakfast for Sunday. There's a corner store that's good for gas and fishing lures, but we'll need to make a 30-min run into the town Wal-Mart or Ingles if we're short on food.

We could still use:
ice
napkins or paper towels
onions???
Chips and snacks
Definitely more drinks

Officially, we can make the start time 12:00 noon, but I'll be up there by at least 10 checking out the boat and jet ski, checking the gas on the grill, etc. If anyone wants to come early, you're more than welcome, and plan on lunch around 2:00.

Holy cow, Greg. I didn't realize you're in Lilburn. I've been stripping 2 different cars near the big Baptist Church in old-town.

It looks like we've got 16 folks, so I'd plan on 20 heads total now that the list is pretty mature. Billy's bringing buns, so I'd say bring enough burgers to fill Billy's buns. Billy, bring 30 buns

By the way, Greg, one of the guys I've been working with in Lilburn has a rear louver setup if you're still looking.

Chips are definetly included with the dip. I'll make a big batch since there will be so many.

Is anybody allergic or dislike guakamole(sp?) Alot of people are allergic to it, thought i would ask before i make it with.

So I will be bringing chips and dip, paper plates and some beers probably. Although I don't drink much. everyone is welcome to them.

Hey Dena, this is going to be a great time. Thanks for hosting it with Crit. I went to SAMS tonight and got 36 of the larger size Nathan's hot dogs and 48 hot dog buns. So there are 12 extra buns for some of your brats.

Holly
