Brett, I plan on at least painting the enginebay again and possibly the jambs rite now. Then back on the REPU. The whole car is getting completed though before I drive it again. Going to finish it up nice and perty.

I'll let you know about the ECU. These are ~60 y/o men who are all about 'American' cars, so when he told me that one of them looked a little newer than mine, he could be talking about a 1st gen or something
I am thankfull that I have the passenger side door jam & hatch jam to sand before I can tape it up for primer.( to clarify, the jams and enginebay will be ready for primer ) Damn what a loong couple days. Runnin on empty..

Ray, my wheels are 15" wheels. My last set of tires were bald and the only ones we had in stock at work that i could get for free were these 225/60's

Colin the Silver One came with the optional automatic X wheel alignment feature that you could get on the 84/85 GSLs, sometimes it's not perfect but it does a pretty good job most of the time. I had it on all my FB's:

Couldn't be nearly as bad as the belts on a transverse front wheel drive vehicle. Those things should be illegal.
And yeah the OCD is a marvel of Mazda engineering.
It works on the Oscillating Compensatory Deregulation principle. If one of the X wheels starts to come out of alignment with the others, the resulting out-of-phase oscillations are picked up by the Oscillator, which sends signals to the Compensator. The Compensator processes the information and signals the wheel deregulators to bring the errant wheel back into alignment.
The OCD not only keeps your FB's X wheels looking like they just came off the lot, its continuous trimming and balancing activities maintain much truer wheel balance and can increase tread life by as much as 10%.

Good News Guys - we did not burn down the neighborhood. 
However, I under estimated how thirsty the chefs get frying a turkey. Long story short, the empty keg was thrown into my backyard by Friday morning. Michelle was so proud of us.
