Not to worry Mike, the real reason I got the spy cameras is to help with our plans to infiltrate T Party meetings.

That's when you'll be seeing interesting things showing up on the internet.

Greg I've used Armor All on the Jeep top with good success, it looks good for awhile at least.

Chris the little white buggy is looking pretty good, nice work! Now time for some liberal applications of Autozone degreaser under the hood.

You'll have that classic car looking like new.

Found a cancer hole in the REPU bed today. I cryed a little. It seems to be happy that it is getting a makeover. I feel good energy off it. It keeps eyeing my spare REW engine in the corner Crit. You may want to be careful it doesn't cross-breed.

Don't worry, she's got a special-enough engine going in that's within 5hp of an REW. Where did you find rust?

Lots of spot rust under the old paint. The spot that went thru is in front of the left wheelwell. Probably the size of a dime or less.Overall though for a 33 year old truck it has held up well. Definetley was not or did not spend much time in the North.

It cleaned up a few spots really well.

And Ray, thanks for the compliment. I am trying to restore it with new everything, then I want to start upgrading the suspension. So it won't ever really be "an original classic." I do think, however; that I will keep everything I take off of it should the Miatas in good condition get in higher demand.

I plan on getting there around 6:30 or so... IIRC it used to be 7, but it's been creeping earlier and earlier since these old guys have to get home and be in bed before 9

I wish I could have parts under my bed. Or just in the house for that matter. Before I moved to my new place, I had a set of S5 T2 side-skirts hanging from the ceiling along with some S5 trim... Now my lady makes me keep everything in the shed

Good to meet you new guys last night. I'll get those pictures up as soon as I get home and can get them off of the camera.

And I'm glad to finally have that dual belt pulley from Billy. Riding around with an humming air-pump was getting kind of lame.

Where's Holly with the count?

Here are the official minutes from the November 2nd, 2010 OGTA Meeting.

It was a cool night and at first it didn't look like a lot of RX-7s were going to show up. But, we ended up with 15 Rotary powered vehicles and 2 piston powered.

12A equivalent points:
5.0 0for 5 FBs - Greg, the elder, Greg, the younger, Crit, Lisa, Bob (new guy).
2.00 for 1 RX-2 - Jeremy
0.75 for 1 FC PreProduction - Kristy
2.50 for 5 FCs - Peter, Rob, Colin, Brett, Francisco
0.375 for 3 FEs - Rick (new guy), Holly, Billy
0.00 for 2 Mazda3s - Richard and Andy. Next time they should drive their FD and SA for an additional 1.83 points.

Total 12A equivalents = 10.625

Brett was the official photographer and will have pics of the new guys and the group.

Ray, we missed you!

Holly

Brett, good to hear that even though she won't let you store car parts under the bed any more, the GF still let's you out of the house once a month.

For Christmas, you should buy her a $100 digital camera, with a flash. She'll really like that.

And yes, that new guy Bob does have excellent taste. That Silver car is one fine example of 12A Power.

What I don't understand is this.

Why would anybody in their right mind go out and buy an RX-8 when they can get four or five really nice FB's for the same price?

Ray, Brett was right, I think Bob is your brother. Bob was on his way up to NC to work on a house he is building up there, and had the silver RX-7 loaded with tools. He loves driving it and you would have enjoyed meeting him. Bob should be back in the future months.

And Ray, you would understand more about the RX-8s if you made it out to EVERY monthly meeting. Heck even Andy, with his SA understands the beauty of the 8s. Is your 12A not doing so well, that it cannot make it out every month? You will have to prove it, by making it out next month.

I'll be back. Sometimes I have to work. A regular job can be inconvenient sometimes.

It's not that I don't like RX-8s Holly. It's just given a choice between 1 RX-8 and 5 FBs, I'd take the FBs.

Hope to meet Bob, his Silver One and some of the other new FBs (and their owners) in the near future!

Who's this Lisa guy anyway?

Sounds good Tim, see you in December? I should have the spy cam up and running by then.

Holly, as I recall, I think the saying goes "Bob's your uncle", not "Bob's your brother".

It means something like "1 FB = 5 FE's, there you go, Bob's your uncle", or something like that.

At least according to Billy and Wiki
