Alex, I promise you my first born for a pair. Cars with those simply don't exist. It would be cool if the Silver One was the first.

Speaking of First Tuesday's Dudes, 11-2-10 is Election Day. Who should I vote for????

Here are some photos of a fellow OGTA member and his brand new '78 SA taken 32 years ago. Can anyone guess who it is?

Holly,

Just noticed you picked up the 8. What do you think of it so far?

News like that is too good not to be spread Greg.

Nice Doo you had back then! I really like the Bell Bottoms, I always thought that cut made a lot of sense.

Hey Ray and other OGTA with FB parts. I am looking for a GSL master cylinder and resevoir. The booster would be a bonus. Also a clutch master cylinder and resevoir. A 81 electric dizzy or equiv.

I believe that the FB will rise from the ashes with just these few parts and some wire repair.

Thanks ahead of time.

Dave

I like it a lot. I couldn't wait for the next RX-7, but I wanted a rotary again. That's why it is re-badge RX-9. Just having fun with it. Just as in the 3rd gen, there are several thing to do to that addresses the longevity of the engine, and other things that need addressed. But, overall a really nice driving car and even useful. The back seat is even a nice little feature.

How is the new job going for you Tim?

Love it so far. They gave me a govt vehicle to drive around Atlanta in while I do audits at various post offices and give them guidelines on improving their service. Right now I go in at 11:30am and get off around 8:15 so what time does the tuesday meet begin and end?

Be good to see you Tim!

Dave, what year master and clutch cylinders do you need? I think they are different between 84/85 (which I have) and the earlier years.

Greg your photo reminds me of how much simpler things were back in 1978, before AIDS, Iraq and Afghanistan, before cable, cell phones, Wall Street filth and Great Recessions.

And you could pick up a brand new SA off the lot for $6,000.

The "Do" got even better in later years as I could only build on that fashion statement. Longer hair, Hawaiian shirts a "fuller" Physique. Hoe did we loose our way?

I wonder if I still have some of those clothes in the closet? That's it, I'm going in.

Sorry about the screen Kristy, but actually saliva, with all those digestive enzymes, is a pretty good screen cleaner.

I'm working on the goat transportation issue, since Brett said it was all right to bring them to the BITS.

You must have been thinking about Goats on the Roof.

We usually start gathering after 6:30PM, and go inside to eat, drink around 8PM. We are usually there until 10PM or after. Hope to see you in August.

The next weekend gathering will be BBITS,on the 31st of July. See the thread in this section, if you are interested.

Saw a nice 2nd gen on the way to work today.
Red, larger diameter wheels in the back, small aftermarket hood scoop, tag said RGPOWER, driven by a YGTB with short red hair.
He was driving west-bound on 316 and exited at Pleasant Hill. I have seen this car before in the P'tree Ind at Medlock Bridge area.
Anybody here?

I'm guessing $400.

Brett, shouldn't you be doing your homework?

So it seems when I try to use the AC it melts the fuse for it. Doesn't pop it, it literally melts the plastic case of the fuse. Hmmm. Can't decide if I should look into it, or just pull it all out .
