You are getting Old Zach. I did notice a few gray hairs sticking out at the last OGTA meeting.

I will be there. We never want to cancel the Regular Monthly meet date. Afterall it has been published on the official OGTA 2010 calendar. If at least two rotorheads show up, it is a meet, that is the way this all started being that Ray, Mike and Greg showed up every month. AND, I'm sure some of the spouses/girlfriends have already planned their night, so you wouldn't want to interfere with their time. You guys do have them trained already for the 1st Tuesday of the Month, don't you?

oh Zach I certainly didn't mean that FC's can't go way past the mileage that I said. You would have to know the history of my Vert that I sold Kevin. It was abused. (((Remembering the green paint....ewww)))))

The pre-prod passed emissions. I thought it probably would but you just never know. It is now registered, tagged and insured to me. No going back now.

And apparently, I'm Kristy's new personal mequeenich.

In her attempt to keep me down in GA and not move to Vermont, Kristy has done the gay-equivalent to getting pregnant on purpose and forcing me to marry her!

Sorry, I had to make some jokes...

How's that clutch, anyways? Feel better?

That car is awesome. I remember when Holly brought it from work. I almost creamed myself. HAHA.

Weather isnt looking good for tomorrow. They changed it to a "Winter Storm Warning" which can mean anything here in GA. They are calling for 1-3 inches over all of north GA. So, traffic is going to be a bitch. Plus, I don't get off work until 6:30 or 7 tomorrow. I will not be coming this month.

Old Skool Qualifications

Here are the qualifications for the Old Skool Meet

Ok I had this section made because it seems that there is a decent amount of interest in the old school era of cars. There's always the debate on what is considered old school. There is the DOT "definition" which states 25 years old. The largest old school Japanese auto show uses the year 1985 as their cut off. Since Dave (and a few others) and I are working to make this something as nice as the one out West, I think we are trying to use their guidelines. So with that, here is the main guideline we can follow:

All pre-1985 cars fall in this category. This includes later years for models that were first built in 1985.

In other words, if you have a 1986 Civic (square back), you'd be included because it is the same model as the 1985 model. This was really generated towards the old school import scene and not Japanese cars. Any import. BMWs, Volvos, anything pre-1985.

The guideline isn't to **** anyone off (about whether or not they are old school or not) or anything of that nature, but we do have to have a cut-off point. Hope this helps. If not, please, feel free to hit me up with questions and concerns and we'll see how this progresses.

Thanks and enjoy.

Later, QD.

If you guys have any questions you can go to importatlanta.com and look for the old skool thread and pm QD.

I think NotNAuto answered that in her post above. It is Kristy's pre-production 1986 RX-7. That is me in the pictures with the car, when it was for sale. You must have seen her before or after registering it at the DMV.

This is getting old now... I'm ready for the summer.

Anyone still planning to make it out tonight? I'm going to lay around the house all day long...

What'dya know, a sugar coated maxipad!

You guys know I love you all and it's going to hurt like hell not to be able to join you in the festivities this evening for the March 2010 OGTA Meeting, but being a liberal, I've decided it would be best to leave the Silver One in the driveway today. She doesn't need the grime and salt.

You should paint it "snow". Hides all the damage.

I will be there. Of course it is in my backyard.
