Tim, it's not what you got, it's how you use it.

You know, that's not such a bad idea. I want to show Ray that a truck can hustle.

Chris has a bad clutch and Quad can't go around turns. All those guys driving FC's, FD's and 8's might be fast if they only had an FB. Yayo used to be able to lay rubber but he moved to PA. There's Juno and Ben and Andy the Younger but they always travel in a pack, so they really can't go that fast. And Andy the Elder's SA only has 4 gears.

Maybe Michael the Elder? He's got that 83 ported 13B sleeper. Might be Gene, he knows how to get hp out of a rotor. I dunno, who would it be?

Maybe it is me. This is what it would be like if one of you guys ever tried to keep up:

Does "most juvenile Old Guy" count for anything? My FB is a stocker, so there's no question about the car being fast, but I get a kick out of chirping the tires with every upshift to 2nd. Nice, loud bark can be heard for two or three blocks. The FD can spin the tires faster, but you can't hear 'em for the exhaust!

Anyone can go fast with lots of horsepower, it takes a true maniac to get it done with less than 90 rwhp.

12A burnouts forever!

That's what I'm talking about Reverend. Out there on 85 extra horsepower mostly gets in your way. It's how fast you can shift lanes that makes you the fastest. 12A's rule.

Ya'll saw this, right?:

You guys are right, that particular 3 is overpriced.

However that New Idea 12A 3 Beater Manure Spreader was a friggin bargain. I can't believe it went for $405, if I lived in Ohio I would'a been all over that thing. What a piece of work.

So tomorrow evening after work I'm heading to Mobile, AL to visit family for a few days before Christmas, but in the Maxima this time. I won't know what to do driving that long way without feeling every other bump in the road, being able to have a conversation in my inside voice, not having my ear drums murdered by an exhaust, and not being high off of fumes. I'm excited

Anyone else have any big plans for Christmas?

We got 5 inches too except it was rain. Sun is back today though, I'm glad to be here in NE GA. I should have my new porch roof finished by sundown.

Have a good trip Brett, don't fall asleep at the wheel. And don't listen to your inner voice, it's nothing but trouble.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be with my mother and brothers, too, so I'll be driving my best. Plus I've got my mp3 player stocked with all new songs, so I should be good to go with that for 4 hours atleast...

Are you doing any other projects after Christmas before classes start back? I'm free until the 6th of Jan, so I'd like to lend a hand with anything you might need. Plus I've been helping my uncle build my cousin's house, so I'm getting good with carpentry

And I did this to the Maxima just a few hours ago. Now all my junk stays in place when I'm delivering!

Bah Humbug!

Very funny Chris, that Scrooge guy looks and sounds just like me. Your creative powers are coming unleashed.

Why the motor swap Quad? Where you at with that thing (or is it those things?), anyway?

Thanks for the offer Brett, carpenters don't come cheap these days! If we get a good outdoor day I might give you a call.

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year Y'all!

The current plan is to give Ben the black body (because he bought it from me already) and to keep the 13B motor. Then keep the red body and transplant it in there. No plans for the blown 12A yet. So I'll have the heart of Nightmare transplanted into the red one. Leaving me only one car, and hopefully with some money back in my pocket.

It will be the first Tuesday in January, which would be the 5th of January. It's always the first Tuesday of the month. It's at the Twisted Tavern off exit 111 on Hwy 85.
