Yes it was turbo - but my point was that even though it was a nikki you can make em run good. There was also a video that I will post if i can find it of a 1st gen FB turbo with a nikki on it from Rotary Shack out running a mustang 5.0!

Sorry to burst the really fast 12A bubble, but I'm in need of assistance for installation of my new fuel injectors and master cylinder. Anyone?

Also, does anyone have an idea why my windshield wipers don't work? I really don't wanna spend $500 to get two new motors...

Kevin, we don't know why they don't work without looking at them. The good news is that you've only got one motor, and used motors/assemblies can be found pretty easily.

I'm off tomorrow (Friday) and in Sugar Hill, so you're welcome to come by if you have time. I can help you with the injectors and master cylinder.

What's your address? I get off work at 4, and I'll head that way after work.

Thanks in advance

That is badass!! It's like autox drag racing. You can race someone other than the clock in an autox. I can see it getting really competative. I wish I could have a whole weekend off

Kevin the Second/Younger, you have a new name - you are now "Deuce". Be good to see you, hope you can talk the FB, the GF and her Datsun into coming too.

Now doubt this truck has a 12A in it, that's the only combination of power and weight that could get it over that hump

You should see the stuff they pull off on that show! Last night he back flipped a dirt bike from one roof top to another. The buildings were 75 foot apart 200 foot+ off the ground.

Last season they went to PR and was drag racing some old school rotaries.

URGENT! Crit and I are attempting to get my car out of his driveway. We replaced the fuel injectors, and now the car won't start. We've tested damn near everything. Will anyone be able to meet us at Crit's house around 9am Saturday morning to help us? We've checked everything from the fuel injectors, to the spark plugs, dizzy, coils, MAF, everything...

Call me at 678-994-1545 if you can come and need directions, or just have an idea of something to check...

Damn Quad, that sounds serious. If Crit can't get an SE going I'm not sure anybody can. Have you checked the fusible links? You mentioned earlier having trouble with one of those.

Yea, we checked all 5. Replaced one with a standard fuse, Crit had one that would fit all the way down. It seems like it's getting sparks (we tested each spark plug by grounding it on the intake manifold and running the engine), and getting fuel (tested the fuel injectors by strapping them to the rail). We have no idea what else could be wrong except compression...q

Tow it up the driveway and just push/clutch start it. That always works with a rotary- don't you guys know?

But being serious, whenever I replaced the pulsation damper with a banjo bolt on the FC, and the other time when I replaced a leaky fuel line, it wouldn't start just with the key both times afterwards. I had to push start it the first time, and the second it unflooded when I pulled the injector fuse and turned it over and all that crap.

My .02... I'm trying to sound smart like you guys

I do not think it is compression. I would test the compression but like i said i do not think it is compression. What you need to do get get a noid light and plug it into the injector wires and check to make sure you are getting current to the injectors. It is possible that the ECU got triggered somehow and it is bad now! If you have compression fuel & spark it has to run.

Are you guys positive they're the right injectors? High Imp. and Low Imp. injectors, mixing the two between incorrect harnesses could blow the ECU...

Yea, the fuel injectors came off and old SE, and just got cleaned by RC engineering. We even replaced the old fuel injectors (leaky though they are), and it still would fire up.

And no, we didn't attempt to push start it, but it's on it's way to Mazcare as I type this. Hopefully they'll be able to diagnose and solve the issue.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Quad. Was it running before? How did you get it over to Crit's? I was looking forward to meeting you AND the SE on Tuesday, but it sounds like the SE might not make it. Hope to see you though!

Brett you're cruising for a bruising in those fart cannons. Like Crit says, stay out of Pendergrass. And Arcade.

I drove it there. The plan was to change out the fuel injectors, seeing as they kept leaking into the chamber, causing a massive amount of smoke, with newly cleaned ones from RC Engineering, along with replace the Master Clutch Cylinder. We got the fuel injectors off, the connectors were kind of sketchy, but we proceeded, then got it all back together, and it wouldn't start. Tried everything from the dizzy, coils, spark plugs, thinking it was missing spark. Eventually we went back into the fuel rail, safety wired the injectors to the rail, and ran it, and it was getting fuel, since both injectors were spraying well. Then we re-checked the ignition system, and even took the spark plugs out, grounded them on the EGI, and finally found a combo of plugs, wires, dizzy, and coil that would get all 4 to fire consistently. Still wouldn't fire when the plugs were in. We checked everything both Crit and I could think of...

Quad

P.S. Crit might possibly be picking me up from work Tuesday, so at least I can make the meet. Just sans RX7.
