God I love that car... Last night's meet was fun, I liked the change.
So I found an this FB, right? It's a red 85, and the guy said the floats are stuck in the carb. Only owning FC's, I've never experienced this carburetor stuff. Could I de-flood the engine and swap on another carb and get it to run, or would it not be that simple? I'm on howstuffworks.com looking at how they work now

Thanks Guys
Thanks for helping out my buddy with his windows on the vert. He learned a lot.
He sent me some pictures of his AC compressor to help identify what compressor he needs. How can I past these to forum?
BTW, I got the new water pump, timing belt, and tensioner on my son's car last night. Tomorrow I'll put the drive belts and pulleys back on. Should have this bad boy wrapped up tomorrow. Ray was right, I should have sold the 626 and bought him a 1st gen.
I can't do lunch tomorrow, sorry. I am taking the day off to wrap up some things at home. I'm headed out of town on Friday.

I wasn't expecting anyone to want any of these photos, so I didn't save the large version, I downscaled it to speed up the photobucket upload time. I did however, have the large version of the original file saved, so I re-edited it to look nearly the same, but it's not exact. Also, I need your email to send it, it's 13.3 MB

"wait, chinese?"
Stu you are crazy, I half think you're serious.
See you guys at lunch, 12:00 sharp at the Hunan! (I'll buy you lunch Collin if you pay for the gas to get your butt over there).

I'm going to see Stu tonight in X-roads country. Heading down that way (NC) for a couple days to fix a couple 7s. Got an SA and a GSL-SE that need to get back on the road.
Stu should have lunch with OGTA and dinner with X-roads. That would be cool.
Are we still planning a meet at Crit's place in August? I'm planning on heading down for that one.

That would be great though.
Looking at it tonight! My uncle's going with me and I kind of wanted to tinker with it for a little while, like pull the plugs and make sure the seals are all there and other little things. I guess I'll just see though. Wish me luck!
Chemisty is the bomb Stu, perfect for the mechanically minded. My degree is in biochemistry (also cell, developmental and molecular biology, but all these disciplines merge into one these days).
Excellent Power Lunch at the Hunan today folks! We'll have to do that more often!
If you decide not to get that red car Brett maybe we can take up a collection and make it an OGTA group project, keep it at Holly's house.

Okay, so here are some pics of the REPU. I've got 205/70R14s on 84 B2000 14x5.5 wheels on the passenger's side, 245/70R16s on 16x7.5 Isuzu Rodeo Snowflakes on the driver's side. The tires are straight from the junkyard, so I'll go with shorter sidewalls, but holy **** these things are big.
