Hey Stu, do you think the guy in the 3rd gen we saw last night knew what jumped his a$$. I hope we can get the local stronger and stronger. I would like to maybe caravan to Deals Gap one time, or maybe take a trip through Stations Inn sometime.
I heard there is a meet sometime up there.

The three inch exhaust on a NA is probably what is making it run rich. There isn't enough back pressure. Now I know why it's throwing the flames.

Hey Sam, I am taking that OER apart I think tomorrow. Found an exploded diagram for the carb, and gonna check for gunk and grime. Also got another set of jets that I could use.

"Sup man, currently I have f-16 emulsion tubes with 170 mains and a 40 pump jet and 50 F9 idle jets. It's pretty responsive, but has a flat spot on sudden throttle."

So.....you think that you can save it? I hope so. I would hate to let someone use a great running intake and carb for nothing. BTW, I don't think carbs like you, or you don't like carbs? I tore the Nikki back down after getting it back from you, a couple of screws is missing, and one of the floats is missing. Man, you must of really hated that Nikki.........

Screws, I have no clue about ( I know I put everything back) but the float (since you reminded me) fell and cracked. I could have sealed it back but I am not THAT redneck. Keep my old carb/carbs as payment or something lol.

I'm still alive guys... but unfortunately I have my Army stuff the 2nd weekend of EVERY month until May. So I have no idea when I will get to catch up again.

** I had a guy ask me seriously this AM at school... "Is it true 13B engines don't last more than 60,000miles?" Wow. Guess I must be one of the few lucky ones to make it to 66,330 now... ha ha

If you are meaning tieing the horn and lights into the alarm, you will probably need to wire them through a seperate relay to keep from backfeeding each other. If you are talking about the factory alarm that came on the second gens, I would have to look at a wiring diagram to see what you want.

Is there a main relay that the horn, idiot lights, and alarm run through? If so, I'll just replace it and see what happens next...

Always check fuses and relays first. Then go from there.........

hey guys I got another ? for you. The other night on the way home from work I was getting on the interstate on one of those circle entrance ramps. I wanted to see how the car would take it (the one in my pic). I made it up to 95 mph when my front end started sliding would a stiffer suspension help with that. I've gone around them at 90 mph in my 2007 dodge ram quadcab

That's scary. I would seriously suggest you slow down before you get killed. An ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure, especially if the cure won't do any good after you're dead.

Hate to spoil the party but better said now than wishing I'd said it later.

Understeer in an rx7, well I'l be damned. In a 1st gen there's no way that would happen, in fact oversteer is normally the issue. Not sure about FCs tho. Maybe you just need to adjust the tire pressures.

The only time i've ever had understeer is when i had bad tires.. besides that, oversteer is more likely depending on how you came into the turn.

tires are new. without looking i think they are nitto. I started the turn slow and sped up as I went through it. right before I got on to 77 the front end started sliding. I was dark so there may have been some stuff on the road.

if you were accelerating thru the turn as you were coming out then it was probably the suspension allowing the front end to lift.

get a good spring or coilover setup

I got a question guys... Say you bridge a 12a with a 45DCOE. That will be a little undercarbed, but if you turbo it, will that still be undercarbed? I may have this all werong, but if you FORCE air in it...

So.........Did you get your clutch straightened out? Were looking forward to seeing you again also. We should have a killer turnout this time if everyone who says they're going shows up. Hopefully things will keep getting bigger when the weather breaks, and starts getter warmer.

I hear that... I am trying to work 6 days a week, plus trying to get a 2nd job. The only thing I look forward to is the Crossroads Meet and the OGTA meets
