Cory, sad to hear about your car. Hope you can geta shell to move it over to.

I've been out of touch here a bit. Been busy. I have my car ready to drop the gas tank. I want to repalce all the hoses and see if I can get the sender out and then see if I can fix it so its more accurate. I'll also check on the tank and fix it up if needed but expect it to be clean and whole.

Picnic sounds great but I'm still busy around the house this weekend. I'll have to pass but make sure you take a lot of pics.

Sweet deal Long. I drove over to Park today and scoped out two possible places to have this little "cookout". One spot is right on the lake. Not much of a grilling/hangout area. The second spot has all the picnic areas, but you would have to walk through some trees to get to the lake. It really doesn't matter to me, but the picnic area would probably be best. Is someone going to bring charcoal, or is Andre's grill gas?

I got the charcoal and lighter fluid covered. I assume he has a charcoal grill. I'll also bring some tongs and stuff to turn the meat. Maybe I'll pickup some plastic forks/spoons unless someone else is bringing some. Can someone bring some stuff to go on the burgers/dogs (ketchup, mustard, etc.)? I can probaby cover the ketchup/mustard, but maybe someone else can bring onion, tomato, and stuff like that. We only have a small cooler and a long drive, so we are limited on what cold stuff we can bring. How about cups? Someone bringing some?

Sounds like a good time. I also think the picnic area sounds best. We can go over to the other area for a bit after we eat if eveyone wants to do that. Where are we going to meet up? What time?

It really doesn't matter. If you guys want to meet at my place it's just a little drive over to the Park. I can bring the condiments too. Someone want to bring the cups? If you guys want to meet up at my place then drive over to the park, pm me and I will give you directions to my place if you don't already know

Sounds good, Sam. I know how to get there. I even remember your address. Are we thinking about hitting the lake around 1pm or something like that? I'll try to target your place before so we can check out the patio and stuff. Once everything gets a bit more ironed out, I'll let you know our approximate arrival time.

Stu is going to try to come up, but he is having some vibration problems (u-joint or tranny mount, probably).

Does anyone have a good GSL-SE tranny laying around? I helped Chris in Winston-Salem swap a new clutch and tranny into his car a couple weekends back (his 5th gear was making noise). Got it all put back and the new tranny was worse than the old one. That really sucked. We got the tranny for free, so cost wasn't an issue, but doing all that work and then having to do it all over again sucks. Anyway, he is looking for a good used tranny. The other option is to rebuild one that he already has.

Don't know. Might be easier if the main group meets either over by O'Charlies or where you guys have been meeting (BK, I guess)? Sam's might be out of the way for some people. I'll probably go by Sam's first as I don't really know where you guys normally meet. What do you guys think? What is the normal meet time? 1pm?

It is probably easiest to keep the normal meeting place/time, so everyone knows where to go. Then leave from there and hit the lake.

Just go to Walmart and get the 4" ones, they're cheap and 10 times better than what came in the car when it was stock.
