Thanks to Long and Andre for helping me figure out what was causing the Vert to go into limp mode. Turns out the ECU was bad. I would have never thought that was it. O'well. Through a process of elimination (thanks again Andre for letting me rob parts of your car to test with) we tested everthing under the hood. Good news is even though the ECU was bad, nothing else was found bad. Car runs awsome now. However, I think that I am going to take Andre up on his offer for his old auto trans and converter. Now I need some tires

 

ive got an s5 and s4 ecu at the house if you need it sam. just have jake run you over there again and open the shed.

 

well josh, sam has my auto one now, so im gonna be in need for a manual S5 ecu now. lol wasnt like i needed it anywayz, ecu's are for kids. now the intake manifold,afm, and tps that are in my cars front seat...... lol

 

Thanks again Andre. I will get back over there and put your car back together. I finally got some good rubber on the Vert today. I cleaned it up and took a few pics. Anywho. Enjoy.

well im deffinatly comming to the meets, thats why i join in the first place. it would be kinda sac-religious to be on rx7 club and not come out

 

meets are fun, just wish i could make more of them. nice vert sam. how's it run? been cruising in it yet?

 

Sam: We are planning to hit a meet this month or next. So, yes, keep having them. What do you guys think about maybe meeting at a lake/park and having a BBQ or something like that? Might be cool for a end of summer meet.

 

A BBQ at the lake sounds like a plan. The vert is running great now. I am trying to talk the woman into letting me keep this one. I have put about 250 miles on it so far and it keeps getting better.

If we are going to do this at the lake, I can scope us out a spot at the State Park. I have been wanting to go over there and check the place out anyway.
