There's a starter cut relay but only on cars with Theft Protection from the factory. When there is no relay on the harness, like for cars without Theft Protection, there will be in place of the relay, a BLUE jumper connector installed in the harness. It's under the Trail coil package in that case. Most likely NOT your starting problem.

If you pull this connector off the harness, and set it aside, you can get a piece of wire that reaches from the battery positive post, and run it to the BLACK/WHITE wire in the connector the blue jumper was installed in. The engine will turn over if the starter is good.

The Black/White wire will be in one of the two sockets the jumper in the BLUE plug mated with.

Sure try to blame me for your idle issue. Removing the system couldn't have messed with the idle. Nothing to touch. Nice try 2 weeks later

Here is a thought,... Go adjust it It is not hard. Otherwise it is something else.

Anyone have a good 12A alternator and or rotor for the alternator? I was taking mine apart today and pressing the rotor out and it bent the end of the shaft due to it being rusted in place. So I need a new 12A alt, or do I just go grab the s4 alt and upgrade? The S4 is a direct fit correct FB guys?

P.S.- Bent shafts suck On all levels

yes it's a straight plug in. and if you have one laying around you'd be better off having a few extra amps.

I have an FD alt that needs some attention someday. That will go on eventually. But I think I will go grab the s4 alt tomorrow, Probably grab the fuse block as well. Also I need the hatch struts for the wifes FC so I guess I have too many reasons not to go. Thanks Edgar.

Prime time tonight. A first coat of sealer will go on tonight. Then a high build primer tomorrow. Then a wet sand and then color/clear. Then reassemble #5!

I feed birds and clean up cat ****... PS: I also have a tub of crisco and vasoline on the shelf if that helps creep you kids out more

2 coats of sealer to start things off. Hopefully shooting primer tonight. We'll see how it plays out.
